The secret's out! Despite trying to keep the pregnancy on the downlow, Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser are expecting!
The upcoming Gilmore Girls revival isn’t the only exciting development on the horizon for Alexis Bledel! Rumor has it that the actress is pregnant with her first child with husband Vincent Kartheiser. According to Celebuzz, the two former Mad Men co-stars are “expecting but they don’t want a lot of people to know.” However, it seemed like the cat was out of the bag when friends were seen congratulating Vincent at the premiere of his new movie Saints and Strangers. What we want to know is… what does this mean for Rory in the Netflix revival?!?! Actually, more than 6 years (!) have passed by since the two broke up in June 2006.
I still think they were such a cute couple, and hope that someday they will get back together (but as long as they are happy - I´m happy)

In August of 2012, actresses and ONE members America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel and Claire Diaz-Ortiz, head of social innovation at Twitter, traveled with ONE to Honduras. Their trip was designed to experience firsthand how women and girls are working to lift their families and communities out of extreme poverty. Wondros director Jesse Dylan traveled with ONE to document the trip, creating the film "ONE: Women and Girls in Honduras."
The film premiered at Mashable's 2012 Social Good Summit in New York City. The summit is a three-day conference "where big ideas meet new media to create innovative solutions."

Alexis Bledel (born September 16, 1981) is an American actress. She is known for her roles as Rory Gilmore in the television series Gilmore Girls and Lena Kaligaris in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.
Bledel was born Kimberly Alexis Bledel in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Nanette (née Dozier) and Martin Bledel. Her father is from Argentina, and has Danish ancestry. Her mother had been raised in Mexico from a young age. Of her parents' upbringing in Latin America, Bledel has stated "It's the only culture my mom knows from life, and my father as well, and they made the decision to raise their children within the context they had been raised in". Bledel was raised in a Spanish-speaking household, and did not learn English until she began school. She has a younger brother, Eric.
Bledel attended Catholic St. Agnes Academy in Houston, as well as Baptist and Lutheran schools. Her mother encouraged her to try community theater to overcome her shyness. As a child, Bledel appeared in local productions of Our Town and The Wizard of Oz.[citation needed] She was scouted at a local shopping mall and given work as a fashion model. She went to Page Parkes Center for Modeling and Acting and attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts for one year.

No es muy frecuente que un film donde prácticamente hay sólo dos personajes pueda ofrecer la intensa tensión que aquí se aprecia. En forma concisa, con un guión muy bien estructurado y un desenlace nihilista completamente opuesto a las convenciones del género, Mitrani ha logrado un muy buen film policial que cuenta con interpretaciones inobjetables por parte de Alexis Bledel y Laurent Lucas.
Sinopsis: Benoit Gando, un ejecutivo francés de 41 años que visita Canadá para participar en una conferencia sobre seguros en Bruce -una localidad de Alberta a poco más de 100 kilómetros del este de Edmonton-, comienza su primer día de estadía en forma tranquila, sin imaginar lo que el destino le habrá de deparar. Cuando se dirige al lugar de la reunión y realiza una compra en un negocio al paso, al salir del mismo es detenido por Kate Logan, una joven policía que creyó ver en él a un peligroso delincuente a quien se trataba de localizar; después de haberse dado cuenta de su error, le pide disculpas dejándolo en libertad. Horas después Kate lo ubica nuevamente y lo invita a tomar una copa como una muestra de gentileza para compensar de ese modo el mal momento pasado por Benoit. Hasta ahí todo resulta natural, pero con mucha sutileza las expresiones de Kate dejan en el espectador la impresión de que la joven no se encuentra psicológicamente estable
