New districts to vary widely in area, population

There will be a wide variation in the area and population of the new districts proposed to be set up in Telangana by the State Government. Out of the 24 new districts proposed, seven will have a population of below 10 lakh and six will have a population of above 15 lakh. Similarly, two districts will have an area of less than 2,000 sq km, while the area of two other districts will be over 8,000 sq km....
