The Goud are an Indian caste. They reside mostly in the central Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Orissa and Maharastra.

According to the Goud Puran, members of the Goud come from Varanasi and other parts of Northern India. They were originally engaged in the manufacture and sale of spirits and liquors. They also may have been Ayurveda doctors and farmers. The Goud community originally thrived near the Godavari River whose trade of living on palm tree product]]s. This included palm wine or [[toddy which is derived from Kerala. Kings hailing from this caste included the Cholas, Chalukya and Nadars from Tamil Nadu.

Goundala groups used titles such as Gouda, Ayya or Appa. The internal structure of the caste comprises six endogamous groups: Deva Goundala, Shetti Goundala, Mashti Goundala, Goundala, Idiga, and Laguwad.

The following castes are considered as Goud community under Andhra Pradesh Commission for Backward Classes act under BC-B, Section 4.^{[clarification needed]}

The Goud caste celebrates the Bonalu festival of Yellamma and Katamayya Panduga (Gouda’s festival) in Shravan Masam of every year in Telangana. They also worship Yellamma and Katamayya as the protector of palmyra trees for more yield. They worship all the deities however, this may vary with respect to certain regions such as Telangana, Rayalseema and Andhra.^{[citation needed]}

Will Tura (born 2 August 1940 in Veurne) is the stage name of Arthur Achiel Albert, Knight Blanckaert, a Belgian artist famous in Flanders and the Netherlands. Tura is a singer, musician (he plays the piano, guitar, drums, accordion and harmonica), composer and songwriter. He is married to Jenny Swinnen, with whom he has a son David (born 16 October 1974) and a daughter Sandy Tura (born 21 November 1975).

Tura started singing when he was only nine years old, covering Gilbert Bécaud and Nat King Cole. Tura's first producer was Jacques Kluger, and later his son Jean Kluger.

Will Tura's first hit was Eenzaam zonder jou (Eng, Lonely without you) in 1963, for which he wrote the melody, and Ke Riema the text. In a newspaper survey, the song got elected the biggest hit in Flanders ever, and it has a place in the Eregallerij (an honorary gallery of the Flemish song, an initiative of Belgian copyright collective SABAM and radio station Radio 2) since the first edition in 2000.

Many hits followed in various musical styles, including rock 'n roll, gospel, country and rap (Moa vent toch, from 1992, in the West Flemish dialect). In 1984 he made a tribute album to Elvis Presley, together with Elvis' band. In 1992 he also released his first Tura in Symfonie, performing with a symphonic orchestra.

Nick & Simon is a Dutch singer-songwriter duo composed of: Simon Keizer (1984) and Nick Schilder (1983). They gained lots of success in their home country the Netherlands in 2006. Their latest album "Luister" ("Listen") went double platinum in 4 months. In June 2011 they tried to find 'The American Dream' in their own TV docu show: Nick & Simon, The American Dream.

Nick had his first appearance on TV on Idols, the Dutch version of Idol, where he became 11th. With his good friend Simon, they began to perform together. Nick and Simon were the most booked artists in the Netherlands in 2007.

The duo were coaches in the first and the second season of The Voice of Holland.
