Tellingly, the object of interest is among many other cliffs and shadows, and doesn't particularly look like anything out of this world.

The Orvin Mountains (Norwegian: Orvinfjella) constitute a major group of mountain ranges, extending for about 65 miles between the Wohlthat Mountains and the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains in Queen Maud Land. With its summit at 3,055 metres (10,023 ft), the massive Sandeggtind Peak forms the highest point in the Conrad Mountains, a subrange of the Orvin Mountains.

Queen Maud Land extends from the boundary with Coats Land in the west to the boundary with Enderby Land in the east, and is divided into the Princess Martha Coast, Princess Astrid Coast, Princess Ragnhild Coast, Prince Harald Coast and Prince Olav Coast.[9] The territory is estimated to cover around 2,700,000 square kilometres (1,000,000 sq mi).[4] It is not officially defined where the limits of the claim are in the south and in the sea in the north.[6][note 2] The sea that extends off the coast between the longitudal limits of Queen Maud Land is generally called King Haakon VII Sea.

New Swabia (German: Neuschwabenland) is a cartographic name sometimes given to an area of Antarctica between 20°E and 10°W in Queen Maud Land, which is administered as a Norwegian dependent territory under the Antarctic Treaty System. New Swabia was explored by Germany in early 1939 and named after that expedition's ship, the Schwabenland, itself named after the German region of Swabia.[1]
German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939)
MS Schwabenland in 1938
The third German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939) was led by Alfred Ritscher (1879–1963), a captain in the Kriegsmarine (German navy). The main purpose was to find an area in Antarctica for a German whaling station, as a way to increase Germany’s production of fat. Whale oil was then the most important raw material for the production of margarine and soap in Germany and the country was the second largest purchaser of Norwegian whale oil, importing some 200,000 metric tonnes annually. Besides the disadvantage of being dependent on imports, it was thought that Germany would soon likely be at war, which was considered to put too much strain on Germany’s foreign currency reserves. Another goal was to scout possible locations for a German naval base.[2]

Jarle Andhøy (born October 23, 1977) is a Norwegian adventurer and sailing skipper.
In February 2011, during Andhøy's Antarctic expedition, Berserk sank in Antarctica with the loss of three crew.[3]
Andhøy's first major voyage, in 1996-1997, was as a 19-year-old in Berserk; his first 27-foot Albin Vega. He sailed primarily single-handed from his home town of Larvik to the Antarctic Peninsula, although during some legs of the voyage he was accompanied by crews that he picked up along the way. Andhøy wrote a book about his voyage entitled Alene Rundt Kapp Horn ("Alone Around Cape Horn").[4] Andhøy met David Mercy (American film-maker and author) in Ushuaia, and they sailed across the Drake Passage together. Mercy later wrote a book about the voyage, and crewed on some of Andhøy's later voyages. Shortly after returning from the Antarctic, Berserk sank.[5]
Trial
In 2014 a trial against him started in the Norwegian court system.[26]

Hauge løyner ikkje at skipet tente inn gode pengar for Reksten sitt reiarlag.

No.331 Squadron RAF - For Norge
The true story of the Norwegian 331 fighter squadron during WWII. All aircraft have correct factory numbers, markings and paint, all dates, types of operations ...
The true story of the Norwegian 331 fighter squadron during WWII. All aircraft have correct factory numbers, markings and paint, all dates, types of operations and battles are true. These exact aircraft and their men fought in these battles.
Dedicated to all Norwegians who endured occupation and war. To those back home, to those that fought abroad at land, sea and air. To everyone that fought to be free and bring their motherland back to life.
So many of them never returned; they fell for us in war so that we may live free, in peace.
(Remember to activate subtitles: click on the Subtitles/CC icon in the lower right of the YouTube player)
Quote from the book Spitfire by Major General Helge Mehre, Squadron Leader of 331 and later Wing Commander of 132. Norwegian Wing: "Norwegian Fighter Squadrons 331 and 332 flew over 20,000 active operational sorties during the Second World War.
The Squadrons shot down with certainty 180 enemy aircraft, probably more, and damaged almost as many. They destroyed many hundreds of vehicles and a great number of locomotives, railway cars, tanks, barges and ships. The Fighter Squadrons lost 75 men during the operations.
The 132. Norwegian Fighter Wing was established 1. November 1943 with 331 and 332 at its core. It was the largest active fighting unit under Norwegian command during WWII. The Norwegian squadrons and the Norwegian wing claimed among the best of RAF's fighter squadrons. In our [country's] history has no other unit hardly done an equivalent role in war."
Enjoy! I hope you will be entertained and learn a thing or two about Norwegian history in WWII. I'm very happy I finally got the chance to dedicate a movie to those that are now being forgotten in my own country.

Dangerous Road To Drive- Trollstigen Pass, Norway
Trollstigen (English: Trolls' Ladder) is a serpentine mountain road in Rauma, Norway, part of Norwegian National Road 63 connecting Åndalsnes in Rauma and Valldal in Norddal. It is a popular tourist attraction due to its steep incline of 9% and eleven hairpin bends up a steep mountain side. Trollstigen was opened on July 31, 1936, by King Haakon VII after 8 years of construction. During the top tourist season about 2,500 vehicles pass daily.
The road is narrow with many sharp bends, and although several bends have been widened during the years 2005 to 2012,vehicles over 12.4 metres long are prohibited from driving the road. During the 2011 and 2012 seasons buses up to 13.1 metres were temporarily allowed as a trial.[4][5] At the 700 metres plateau there is a car park and several viewing balconies overlooking the bends and the Stigfossen waterfall. Stigfossen falls 320 metres down the mountain side. The pass has an elevation of approximately 850 metres.
A major tourist facility including a museum was completed in 2012. Several viewing platforms have been constructed and older constructions improved upon. Trollstigen (along with road 63) was officially opened as a national tourist route by the Minister of Transport and Communications on June 16, 2012. Trollstigen itself (and the alpine summits to the west) lies within the Trollstigen landscape protection area, while the alpine area east of Trollstigen (notably Trolltindene range) is part of Reinheimen National Park.
Trollstigen is closed during autumn and winter. A normal opening season stretches from mid-May to October, but may sometimes be shorter or longer due to changes in the weather conditions.
In the summer of 2005 the road was repaired and about 16 million NOK was spent on protection against rockfall, making the road safer to drive on.

The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, A Memoir of Ronald Reagan, Theodore Rex (2002)

Edmund Morris (born May 27, 1940) is an American writer best known for his biographies of United States Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan.
Morris was born in Nairobi, Kenya, the son of South African parents May (Dowling) and Eric Edmund Morris, an airline pilot.[1] He received his early, British-influenced education in Kenya and then studied music, art, and literature at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. Dropping out of college in 1961, he worked in the retail advertising department of a menswear store in Durban. Most of the brochures and advertisements he designed and wrote were for the Zulu market, and he later claimed that this early training in "making words move merchandise" was invaluable to the formation of his literary style.[2] Moving to Britain in 1964, he abandoned dreams of becoming a concert pianist and was employed as a copywriter in the London office of Foote, Cone & Belding, an American advertising agency. In 1966 he married Sylvia Jukes, an English teacher and writer, and emigrated with her to the United States two years later.[3]
Morris's first book, The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt, was published when he was thirty-nine. The first volume of what would eventually become a trilogy on the life of the 26th president, it won the 1980 Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award for biography.[4]
In 1981, Ronald Reagan became President of the United States and was impressed by a reading of The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt. Senator Mark O. Hatfield of Oregon and Librarian of Congress Daniel J. Boorstin urged Reagan aides to appoint Morris as the president's official biographer. Morris met with Reagan on several occasions in 1981-1983, but was reluctant to put aside work on Theodore Rex, the second volume of his life of Roosevelt.[5] However, in 1985 Morris recognized that Reagan had become a figure of high historical importance, and signed a $3 million contract with Random House to write his authorized biography. He reached a private agreement with the president and first lady that granted him regular interviews with them and their children, as well as unlimited access to the White House, by means of a pass that made him a non-governmental observer of the administration. This "fly-on-the-wall" privilege was made doubly unusual by Reagan's willingness to let Morris write his biography without any editorial control.[6]
Morris spent the next fourteen years researching and writing the story of Reagan's life in Washington D.C. and Santa Monica, California. He continued to see the former president in retirement, and worked extensively in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, enjoying special access to Reagan's personal papers. His manuscript, prepared under conditions of great secrecy, was edited by Robert Loomis, executive editor at Random House.[7] The biography's long gestation was the result of a radical change in narrative method, caused by Morris's frustration with what he has described as Reagan's lack of "curiosity about himself."[8] Morris confided this frustration in 1989 to a group of fellow scholars at the University of Virginia's Miller Center of Public Affairs. His remarks were leaked to the press and gave rise to rumors that Morris did not understand his subject.[9]
In 1999 Morris published Dutch: A Memoir of Ronald Reagan. The book caused an international sensation because it was presented, without explanation or apology, as a work of nonfiction by an imaginary author.[10] Although the story of Reagan's life was authentic and documented with 153 pages of notes, the parallel "story" of its author, one "Arthur Edmund Morris" born in Chicago in 1912, enraged many critics and readers who had been expecting a conventional presidential biography.[11] Dutch rose quickly to No. 2 on the New York Times Best Seller list. But despite a minority of favorable reviews, and the endorsements of three of Reagan's children,[12] reactions to it were generally so negative that it soon fell off the list.[13]
Morris explained in many interviews that his book's unique narrative form — a memoir written by a close observer of whom Reagan is never really aware — was a literary device reflecting the essentially thespian nature of his subject. Reagan, he said, was an enigma to anyone who sought to explain him by orthodox means. Widely beloved, the man had no close friends; seemingly passive and gentle, he yet exerted unstoppable force; although his id was formidable, he had no personal vanity. "He was truly one of the strangest men who's ever lived," Morris told Lesley Stahl on CBS's 60 Minutes. "Nobody around him understood him. I, every person I interviewed, almost without exception, eventually would say, 'You know, I could never really figure him out.'"

Camp David Study Table
Richard Nixon and President Theodore Roosevelt's daughter Alice Roosevelt Longworth discuss the 1972 election. Longworth praises Nixon's campaign, and they briefly compare the 1972 and 1912 elections. Nixon updates her on the current Vietnam War negotiations. The 86-year-old Longworth insists that she is still "mean as a hornet." They both praise First Lady Pat Nixon's role in the campaign and note how much times have changed for women in the public eye. Theodore Roosevelt was one of Nixon's most admired political heroes.
