Charles should make us wonder who the "Good Guys" are. Charles is a former wife-beater, yet, there he was rescuing 3 women from abuse.
Where were the "Good Guy" cops who are supposed to follow all hard tips and rescue abducted women? Point taken, Charles.
Where was the "Good Guy" dispatcher who was supposed to stay on the phone with an audibly distressed woman who said she was kidnapped? Point taken, Charles.
Where was the clean-cut, "Good Guy" Angel Cordero who could have NOT run away, and could have provided safety in numbers while breaking down the abductor's door? Point taken, Charles.
Come to think of it...isn't Castro himself well-groomed, and a former school bus driver? Cops said Castro was "meek" in manner during his interviews. Right.

There is Charles, hustling, washing dishes in a restaurant, a former wife-beater, yet he, along with the victim, Amanda Berry herself, rescued three women from certain death. Few would look at Charles and see a philosopher - a teacher of lessons.
There is no dental plan in that dish-washing job, probably no health care either. The pay is probably minimum wage. After the bills are paid, there's not much left over for extras..but Charles wants us to know, in his Anderson Cooper interview, that he is employed, and that he's proud of tha. He was known as the "King of Saratoga" and from the mid-1970's through most of the 1980's, jockey Angel Cordero, Jr. was synonymous with racing at the Spa. He rode Saratoga with an unquenchable fire that still burns. Every jockey wants to win here, but Cordero always seemed to want to win more. He won his first riding title here in 1967 at the age of 25, bringing home riding 36 winners. Nine years later, he came back to take his second title, with 29 winners in 1976, and began a string of 11 straight years he remained atop the jockey standings. In 1987 Cordero's streak was snapped by Jose Santos, but he returned to win again in 1988 and 1989. During a career that spanned four decades, Cordero won nearly every major race at Saratoga at least once, including the 1986 Hopeful with Gulch, the 1984 Whitney Handicap with Slew o'Gold and the 1991 Alabama with Versailles Treaty. It took him 13 tries, but he finally won the Travers in 1985 aboard Chief's Crown. A two-time Eclipse Award winner as outstanding jockey in 1982 and 1983, Cordero was inducted into racing's Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2011, the coveted riding title at Saratoga was named in honor of Cordero.

He was known as the "King of Saratoga" and from the mid-1970's through most of the 1980's, jockey Angel Cordero, Jr. was synonymous with racing at the Spa. He rode Saratoga with an unquenchable fire that still burns. Every jockey wants to win here, but Cordero always seemed to want to win more. He won his first riding title here in 1967 at the age of 25, bringing home riding 36 winners. Nine years later, he came back to take his second title, with 29 winners in 1976, and began a string of 11 straight years he remained atop the jockey standings. In 1987 Cordero's streak was snapped by Jose Santos, but he returned to win again in 1988 and 1989. During a career that spanned four decades, Cordero won nearly every major race at Saratoga at least once, including the 1986 Hopeful with Gulch, the 1984 Whitney Handicap with Slew o'Gold and the 1991 Alabama with Versailles Treaty. It took him 13 tries, but he finally won the Travers in 1985 aboard Chief's Crown. A two-time Eclipse Award winner as outstanding jockey in 1982 and 1983, Cordero was inducted into racing's Hall of Fame in 1988. In 2011, the coveted riding title at Saratoga was named in honor of Cordero.

La diferencia es cómo utilizó cada quien su cerebro y cómo orientó sus potencialidades, y esa fuerza que se llama espíritu de realización que ha hecho que existan personajes en la historia que no tienen precio por los incalculables beneficios que han aportado a la humanidad.
El llamado a la excelencia es un llamado universal, ya que nadie fue creado para ser un mediocre; lo que se requiere es su decisión personal para lograrlo.

Si todos los seres humanos valemos lo mismo en cuanto a contenido, ¿cuál es la diferencia entre un premio Nóbel y un narcotraficante, entre un líder de la libertad y un dictador? La diferencia es cómo utilizó cada quien su cerebro y cómo orientó sus potencialidades, y esa fuerza que se llama espíritu de realización que ha hecho que existan personajes en la historia que no tienen precio por los incalculables beneficios que han aportado a la humanidad.
El llamado a la excelencia es un llamado universal, ya que nadie fue creado para ser un mediocre; lo que se requiere es su decisión personal para lograrlo.

The interview was requested by OTB for the specific purpose of introducing JonesCAM's HD JockeyCAM and discusses the many applications the HD camera system has to offer the horse racing industry.
First tested in 2005 on the famous Oklahoma track at Saratoga Raceway by Michael Jones for trainer's applications in a wearable self contained model and later that same summer in a wireless design, the product quickly caught the attention of trainers, owners, track managers and jockeys alike. Angel Cordero was one of those jockeys that quickly recognized the potential of the products and became a major influence in its development and exposure. The product though widely accepted back in 2005 was too large to be safe. Fast forward to 2010 and not only did the product get smaller, much smaller, 3 ounces to be exact but it answered all the safety concerns and the video quality was greatly improved. Testing was ramped up and world renown jockeys like Angel and Gary Stevens made suggestions JonesCAM used in 2011 for its introduction of the safety HD JockeyCAM made, the JonesCAM HD JockeyCAM. World famous jockeys that have tested and approved for more than training needs but also race day productions now include Johnny Velázquez and Javier Castellano.
Since the 2011 Fasig-Tipton yearling sales in Saratoga, five world famous tracks have contacted JonesCAM requesting additional information about its HD products and services. By the end of 2011, JonesCAM believes its products will be used for what it originally was intended for, race day applications across the US. The JonesCAM HD JockeyCAM is the smallest, safest and easiest to use JockeyCAM made. Lobo Suelto, Cordero Atado, Vol. 1 es un álbum de estudio del conjunto de rock argentino Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota. Junto a Cordero atado se lanzaron el mismo día, ambos bajo el citado dúo de nombres, los dos discos tematicos tratan sobre Lupus el Lobo y de Rulo el Cordero, con distintas canciones y portadas totalmente opuestas.
La presentación del álbum se realizó en el estadio de Huracán en dos fechas separadas, una dedicada íntegramente a Lobo Suelto (19 de noviembre de 1993) y otra a Cordero Atado (20 de noviembre de 1993), en estos recitales tuvieron varios invitados entre ellos el coro femenimo Las Blacanblus y también volvió a la banda un ex integrante de los primeros tiempos, Conejo Jolivet; él cual también participo en varios shows de 1994 y 1995 luego regreso más tarde en 1998 en los dos recitales de Racing Club de Avellaneda, donde presentaron Último bondi a Finisterre y donde Conejo toca en casi la totalidad de los temas
