There are more than 16,000 employees working in it and the organization constantly recruits a lot of fresh and experienced candidate, every year. Starting from engineers, scientists to those who have completed the high school education can apply for the vacancies. The applicants with high school education can apply for Grade 3 examinations for the post of assistants. There are several positions in the grade 3 including the finance and accounts, stores and purchases and many others. Those who are below the age of 28 can only apply for the examination. The recruitment process of CSIR recruitment of grade 3 posts include a written examination conducted by CSIR and a computer test where the shortlisted candidate would be asked to type some content on the computer. The grade 1 recruitment happens through a written test called Combined Administrative Examination. Those who are below the age of 28 can apply. The CSIR grade 2 employees can also apply. There is no age limit for the employees. For applying for grade 1, the candidate should have a degree in any disciple from any university in India. The recruitment process for grade 2 is also the same as that of grade 1. The recruitment process for scientist or senior scientists needs a post graduate degree in the disciples mentioned in the job application. The senior scientists usually require a Ph.D or post graduate with experience. The candidates who are applying for the post of scientists should apply online.
