Run Cycle Pencil Test Starring Mark Stansbury
www.subwaysurfer.blogspot.com While Studying principles of traditional 2D Animation with Mark Stansbury of Puddin' Presents, I created this limited pencil test run cycle using my cartoon version of Mark, and the character "Action Pat" our group was animating for a joint project. Mark encouraged me to do a lot of practice on my own using the principles he taught, and not to be "afraid" of using limited animation to tell a story. Mark was a great teacher.

Recommended Books: Roman Paganism
There are many books on Roman Paganism, both primary and secondary sources. Some are easier to read than others, or give more information. What I've done here is discuss a few of those that are good, some as introductions, and some for more in-depth work.
The books I discuss are:
John Scheid, "An Introduction to Roman Religion."
R. M. Ogilvie, "The Romans and their Gods in the Age of Augustus."
Ovid, "Fasti."
Macrobius, "Saturnalia."
Plutarch, "Roman Questions." The one I use here is tr. by H. J. Rose; New York: Biblo and Tannen, 1974.
Servius, "Servius' Commentary on Book Four of Virgil's Aeneid." tr. Christopher M. McDonough, Richard E. Prio, and Mark Stansbury. Wauconda, IL: 2004.
H. H. Scullard, "Festivals and Ceremonies of the Roman Republic."
Georges Dumézil, "Archaic Roman...
