I hope you are all enjoying these videos so far because I just had the TIME of my life in Dubai! I loved everything about it, the food, the hospitality, the culture, the scenery, the people, EVERYTHING. I must say I was quite overwhelmed visiting Dubai Mall considering it's one of the largest in the WORLD. The Aquarium being inside the mall, now THAT was astonishing! We tried to go to the top that day BUT tickets were already sold out at 1pm for that day so we bought our tickets for another day and returned. So here's a couple of tips to make your trip enjoyable! -------------------------------------------------------------------- - Buy your AT THE TOP Burj Khalifa tickets AHEAD of time. I can't stress this out enough. Buy them online OR if you plan on going to Dubai Mall several days, buy them whenever you are there. Tickets are sold by the time, so once purchased you HAVE to visit the Burj at THAT specific time. We were actually late because our taxi cab driver took a wrong turn BUT we did end up getting through the line! Ticket prices vary from 100 AED to 500 AED so heres the website for more info! http://www.burjkhalifa.ae/en/observationdeck/ticketinformation.aspx - Dubai Mall is HUGE so if you DO intend to shop, have a set plan on where you want to go and the main sites you want to see. Obviously I wanted to see the Waterfall and The Aquarium so I went to those first and then the shopping. However, if it gets TOO overwhelming, there's Souk Al Bahar right next to the Mall where you can distress a bit. -WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. You will do ALOT of walking. TRUST me lol -There's two levels to go to the top of the Burj Khalifa, there's the 124 floor and then there is the Sky Observation Deck which is fairly new and just opened not too long ago! It is a BIT pricier though. However, I found that the 124 floor was high enough for me lol -Taxis are constantly around the mall so no worries about how to get back to your destination. -Take advantage of the TAX FREE shopping!
