Michael John Pollard (born Michael John Pollack, Jr.; May 30, 1939) is an American actor best known for playing the character C.W. Moss in the 1967 crime film Bonnie and Clyde.
Pollard was born in Passaic, New Jersey. He is the son of Sonia (née Dubanowich) and Michael John Pollack. His parents were both of Polish descent. Pollard attended the Montclair Academy and the Actors Studio.
In 1959, at twenty, Pollard had a tiny role as a shoeshine boy in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, "Appointment at Eleven" (Season 5 Episode 3). Pollard also portrayed Homer McCauley, the dramatic lead, in a television adaptation of William Saroyan's novel, The Human Comedy, production narrated by Burgess Meredith. That same year Pollard appeared in the episode "The Unknown Town" of David Hedison's 16-segment NBC espionage series, Five Fingers.
Later that same year, Pollard appeared in episode five of CBS's The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis as Jerome Krebs, the first cousin of Maynard G. Krebs, played by Bob Denver, who in real life had been drafted into the United States Army. Pollard's character was to have been a replacement for Maynard but disappeared when Denver was classified 4-F and was able to return to the series.
Bonnie Elizabeth Parker (October 1, 1910 – May 23, 1934) and Clyde Chestnut Barrow a.k.a. Clyde Champion Barrow (March 24, 1909 – May 23, 1934) were criminals who traveled the central United States with their gang during the Great Depression, robbing and killing people. At times, the gang included Buck Barrow, Blanche Barrow, Raymond Hamilton, W. D. Jones, Joe Palmer, Ralph Fults, and Henry Methvin. Their exploits captured the attention of the American public during the "Public Enemy Era", between 1931 and 1935. Though known today for his dozen-or-so bank robberies, Barrow preferred to rob small stores or rural gas stations. The gang is believed to have killed at least nine police officers and several civilians. The couple were eventually ambushed and killed by law officers near the town of Sailes, in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. Their reputation was revived and cemented in American pop folklore by Arthur Penn's 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde, in which they were played by Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty.
William Gary Busey (born June 29, 1944) is an American actor. He has appeared in films such as Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974),The Gumball Rally (1976), The Buddy Holly Story (1978), Big Wednesday (1978), Silver Bullet (1985), Eye of the Tiger (1986), Lethal Weapon (1987), Predator 2 (1990), Point Break (1991), Under Siege (1992), The Firm (1993), Rookie of the Year (1993), Surviving the Game (1994), Drop Zone (1994), Black Sheep (1996), Lost Highway (1997), Soldier (1998), and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998). Busey also made guest appearances on shows such as Gunsmoke, Walker, Texas Ranger, Law & Order, Scrubs, and Entourage.
In 1978, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in The Buddy Holly Story.
Busey was born in Goose Creek, Texas, the son of Sadie Virginia (née Arnett), a homemaker, and Delmer Lloyd Busey, a construction design manager. He graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1962. While attending Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas on a football scholarship, he became interested in acting. He then transferred to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he quit school just one class short of graduation.

Song I wrote featuring my buddy Mike (legendary one-in-a-lieftime actor Michael J. Pollard). This FICTIONAL story of Michael being hit by a car on the "corner of Sunset & Sycamore" before his destined meeting w/ St. Pete at The Pearly Gates was inspired when I lost Mike in the aisles of Ralph's Grocery Store. I was doin' impromptu Grim Reaper. Or somethin'. @ Words & music, Kevin Kelly www.thekevinkellyshow.com
