Brandy Alexandre (b. July 17, 1964, Huntington Beach, California) is the stage name of a former American adult actress.
In 1991, she produced, directed, wrote and starred in Cheeks 5: Cop A Feel. This video received a nomination for the AVN Award for Best Director. Alexandre also directed, produced, and wrote the 1992 video Best Butt(e) in the West, her last adult film performance. Other industry nominations include Best Sex Scene for the video Making Tracks (1991), and Best Supporting Actress for the video Mystic Pieces (1989). She left the adult industry in 1992. Her most recent pornographic work continued to be released into 1993.
After leaving the adult film industry, Alexandre returned to working as a secretary, which was a position she held before entering the industry. She is of the strongly held opinion that adult film actors should only be referred to by their industry aliases, even in reference works, unless the actor has chosen to publicly reveal his or her true name or if their activities have caused the name to be revealed in the mainstream media.
Lisa De Leeuw is an American pornographic actress, and one of the few falsely reported to have died of HIV.
She appeared in almost 200 films and was inducted into both the X-Rated Critics' Organization Hall of Fame and the AVN Hall of Fame.
Headpress 25 (2003) noted that DeLeeuw died of complications from AIDS on November 11, 1993. But in the book Skinflicks: The Inside Story of the X-Rated Video Industry (2000), writer and porn producer David Jennings, describing the stigma and rumors surrounding AIDS in the porn community in the late 1980s and early 1990s, wrote, "Reputed to be dead of AIDS, Lisa DeLeeuw and Brandy Alexandre, now out of the industry, proclaimed themselves alive and healthy."

Brandi Carlile (born June 1, 1981) is an American alternative country and folk rock singer-songwriter Her 2007 album The Story was produced by T-Bone Burnett.
Carlile is best known for the eponymous song from the The Story album. "The Story", the song, was used in a General Motors television commercial aired on American and Canadian television showcasing the car company's new line-up of more fuel-efficient cars. Due to the ad airing heavily during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the song increased in downloads. The song was also used in the 2008 commercial for Super Bock, the most popular beer in Portugal, which led to the song reaching number 1 and the album The Story reaching number 4 on the Portuguese charts. "The Story" was also used in a montage of Penn State football coach Joe Paterno during the opening and closing of the Ohio State-Penn State football game on ABC on October 25, 2008, and was also used in a 2010 Tracker television commercial that aired on South African television. "The Story" is currently being used on Connecticut Channel 3 during promotions for the local news. Aside from "The Story" (specifically the cover version by Sara Ramirez), two other Carlile songs (this time from her third album titled Give Up the Ghost) were used for two more episodes of the TV series Grey's Anatomy.
As I try to be the man for her
Far across the sea and land for her
The deep within my blood is sand
Until I drink what makes me mad for her, oh
She's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
My Brandy Alexander
But do I thirst for all the worst again?
Is it my addiction to this curse within?
Silently I must confess this sin
Tastes better after juice and gin, oh
She's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
Oh, that's another matter
She's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter, oh
And deep within my blood is sand
Until I drink what makes me mad for her, oh yeah
She's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
Oh, that's another matter
She's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
Oh, that's another matter
She's my Brandy Alexander, oh yeah
That's another matter
It goes down easy, it goes down easy
It goes down easy, it goes down easy
It goes down easy, it goes down easy
Though I'd like to be the girl for him
And cross the sea and land for him
On milky skin my tongue is sand until
The ever distant band begins to play
He's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
Brandy Alexander
He's my Brandy Alexander
Always gets me into trouble
But that's another matter
Brandy Alexander
Though you know what I love most of him
I'm walking on needles and pins
My addiction to the worst of him
The low moon helps me sing
I'm his Brandy Alexander
Always get him into trouble
I hide that I'm flattered
Brandy Alexander
I'm his Brandy Alexander
Always get him into trouble
I hide that I'm flattered
Brandy Alexander
Goes down easy
It goes down easy
You finally close the door
You?ve left open wide
Lock it from the inside
You lay me down and count me out
Watch out, it's all on you
There?s worse ways to see it, baby
Set fire and watch it burning
Come here, sit next me
I?ll tell you about a dream
I?m looking out on the world
I see it through your eyes
Burn you down, bury you
I tried to see it plain
There's worse ways of getting here
You don?t hear me complaining
I?ll tell you of every dream
I?m holding for you and me
Look out now, it?s all on you
Those colors are all faded
Outside the wind is howling
Stop talking, listen to me
