Daylight or the light of day is the combination of all direct and indirect sunlight outdoors during the daytime. This includes direct sunlight, diffuse sky radiation, and (often) both of these reflected from the Earth and terrestrial objects. Sunlight scattered or reflected from objects in outer space (that is, beyond the Earth's atmosphere) is generally not considered daylight. Thus, moonlight is never considered daylight, despite being "indirect sunlight". Daytime is the period of time each day when daylight occurs.
Daylight is present at a particular location, to some degree, whenever the sun is above the horizon at that location. (This is true for slightly more than 50% of the Earth at any given time. For an explanation of why it is not exactly half, see here). However, the outdoor illuminance can vary from 120,000 lux for direct sunlight at noon, which may cause eye pain, to less than 5 lux for thick storm clouds with the sun at the horizon (even <1 lux for the most extreme case), which may make shadows from distant street lights visible. It may be darker under unusual circumstances such as a solar eclipse or very high levels of atmospheric smoke (See New England's Dark Day), dust, or volcanic ash.

I'm in the food and wine capital of the Southern Hemisphere and I'm cooking outside..", which summarises everything that is great about Adelaide's growing food truck culture. Young foodies working with the finest local produce to create mouthwatering food experiences.
This film catches some of Adelaide's entrepreneurial foodies all together for an event called Fork on the Road, held in Adelaide during the Fringe Festival. While the event is seasonal, the food van vendors can be found every day of the year, popping up in all over the city each lunch time.

Terrified, you half throw yourself into the light. You don't know how long you ran down that pitch dark corridor, tripping on debris and stumbling into hanging cables, with those things right on your heels... Somehow you lost them, if only for a moment.
Your heart feels like it's going to explode, your muscles ache, your eyes are burning; you've had nothing but the weak beam from your flashlight for hours. Constant terror and adrenaline have driven you past exhaustion.
You take a loot around... "Sub-junction 7". One of many tunnel intersections in this sector. All the tunnels look the same; you're not certain which one brought you here in the first place. Blackness fills each exit. You have no idea where to go next, and no way to defend yourself, having dropped your pistol into the jaws of that... that... you try not to think about it.
Light shines from one of the vents... daylight? Is that possible in this sector? Just how far down are you? A body lays basking in the glow - some poor bastard from the security division. Looks like this was as far as he got before the strain and his injuries finished him off.
No luck, his holster is empty. He was carrying... a wrench? You sigh, holding it in your hand. If you have to resort to this, it will already be too late. Nearby you spot a medical kit, also apparently carried by the guard. Lot of good it did him, you think. You wonder if you're staring into your own future - laying dead, bled out in some godforsaken maintenance network. Was this guy running blind and scared, just like you are now?
Something clenched in the corpse's hand catches the light; you snatch it from the guard's lifeless fingers. You wipe the blood from your prize and realize it's a security keycard. Suddenly, a memory from one of those dull workplace orientation meetings finds its way through your fear...
"...defensive features include fully automated deployable sentry devices. These turrets are programmed to destroy anything without a level 2 or better clearance on sight, so keep your remote ID tag on your AT ALL TIMES when traveling in any of the lower-level viaduct systems..."
Apparently, this poor blighter really did have a plan.
If you can activate those sentry turrets, and place them with a good view of the entrance hallways, you might just be able to hold off the horde that's dead set on devouring your Nobel-prize-winning ass. And if one of them breaks down, well...
It might just come down to that wrench after all.

This is the shocking spate of broad-daylight street muggings by a gang of children captured on camera in central Rio de Janeiro over the past fortnight.
The eyes of the world are due to be on the Brazilian city when it hosts the Olympics in just eight months time.
And if these appalling scenes are anything to go by, visitors would be well-advised to keep their wits about them and their valuables out of sight.
The violent phone and jewellery snatches were filmed by a local businessman who placed a camera in his office window on the corner of one of the city’s main roads.
The footage - recorded between mid-December and January 4 - was passed to local news station RJTV which broadcast the clip to try to shame city police into taking more action.

A teenager in flip-flops snatches a mobile from the hands of a passenger on a bus after spotting her sitting by an open window and leaping up the side of the vehicle - although bizarrely he returns the phone to her when it falls from his grasp and breaks on the road.
Another youngster uses a bike to draw up alongside a victim before accelerating away with her necklace.
He is later filmed sat in a square by the scene of his crime examining his stolen wares.
Other victims seem to give up their belongings without the slightest show of surprise in a city where violence and police corruption is endemic.
The CCTV footage - taken near a police post which is empty and seemingly abandoned - also appears to shows Fagin-style adults advising young boys how to steal valuables and gang members gathering round to compare their takings.

This is the shocking spate of broad-daylight street muggings by a gang of children captured on camera in central Rio de Janeiro over the past fortnight.
The eyes of the world are due to be on the Brazilian city when it hosts the Olympics in just eight months time.
And if these appalling scenes are anything to go by, visitors would be well-advised to keep their wits about them and their valuables out of sight.
The violent phone and jewellery snatches were filmed by a local businessman who placed a camera in his office window on the corner of one of the city’s main roads.
The footage - recorded between mid-December and January 4 - was passed to local news station RJTV which broadcast the clip to try to shame city police into taking more action.

- Initial goals will be to find civilization & loot for skill skill books and iron tools.
- Killing Zombies will help with Level faster.
- Wellness Increases will come faster with higher quality food and medications, while avoiding death penalties.
- Hoping to find a forge ahead book to get started making my own tools and weapons, but even then everything crafted will be based on my current level so I hope to find the rare high level drops.
- A gun would be nice to take on some of the higher level Zombies in the hub city. Risk and reward drops for guns and weapons may be beneficial there.
- Clothing and Armor will also be crucial to survival.
- Shelter and food shouldn't be too hard if while I loot. Temporary hold outs should do until I can construct something more substantial.
- Gardening may have to wait but I would like to plant early to start building up resources for better food and drink.
Alpha 12 additions and changes:
-Minibike available for transportation and mobile storage. Requires parts to be combined and maintenance with repair kits like weapons.
-Menu enhancements for quicker crafting and item sorting/storage.
-Physics now drops blocks and zombies have new rag doll animations.
-Bears are a real threat but a great recourse reward.
Exploring as a scavenger is intense, fighting Zombies and discovering new areas and loot where civilization used to be. No boundaries and no imaginary walls, means endless fun. I plan to build a base and a garden once I get situated a little better.

Outo K might mean a strange criminal, that's actually obvious.
But what I find funny now is I read today the "rules of flirting". 1. Sit up straight - he does that. 2. Have firm eye contact - he does that. 3. Avoid too provocative topics in conversation - he does that, until the end with Ilmatar. 4. Smile - he doesn't really do that, or the smile is so quick you don't really notice it. 5. Remain in a distance that is comfortable for both parties - OK breaks that rule.
6. Listen carefully what the other one is saying - OK does that, until he gets angry for different reasons.
Some parts of this is in his imagination, not all parts. He doesn't seem to care about anything except the fact the he must be heard. He spends a lot of time convincing Ilmatar that she should be with him or else "your problems will be mine." So he is in a way anxious to connect with someone, but lacks all "normal" social skills and when he feels defeated or vindicated he returns to his safe shell in his mind. He is very careful not to make a scene in public, only in private spaces. So he is quite interesting because he doesn't seem to spot the difference between the "facts" in his mind and the "facts" in the reality other, more "normal" persons are experiencing.
So is he flirting? No he is not. He is a deranged, empty person who kidnaps someone's identity and tries to have sex with Ilmatar. When he fails, he is outraged, goes home and thinks that ok, that was another day.
