This video has been uploaded several times on YouTube (one in stereo) but never with a HQ remastered sound of the Original recording.
I took the privilege of mixing over this one of a kind video clip of Dion with a Clean and digitally remastered to a 720p Hd and replaced the it with the (Original) song by Dion & The Del Satins. Dion left the Belmont's and went solo at the time he recorded this song, as a matter of fact "The Wanderer" was actually on the B side to "The Majestic" a single released by the record label as the song that was to be Dion's big hit.
The Radio Jock's took it upon themselves to start flipping over the 45 record to the B side and also playing "The Wanderer" which shot straight up the U.S pop charts in December of 1961 and rose to # 2 in early 1962

At its roots, it's more than meets the eye. "The Wanderer" is black music filtered through an Italian neighborhood that comes out with an attitude. It's my perception of a lot of songs like "I'm A Man" by Bo Diddley or "Hoochie Coochie Man" by Muddy Waters. But you know, "The Wanderer" is really a sad song. A lot of guys don't understand that. Bruce Springsteen was the only guy who accurately expressed what that song was about. It's "I roam from town to town and go through life without a care, I'm as happy as a clown with my two fists of iron, but I'm going nowhere." In the fifties, you didn't get that dark. It sounds like a lot of fun but it's about going nowhere.
Maresca had co-written Dion's previous # 1 hit, "Runaround Sue", but originally intended "The Wanderer" to be recorded by another group, Nino and the Ebbtides. They passed on it in favour of another Maresca song, so Dion was given it as the B-side of his follow-up single, "The Majestic", a song which his record company had chosen for him. The record was turned over by radio DJs who preferred "The Wanderer", which duly entered the US charts in December 1961 and rose to # 2 in early 1962. It also reached # 10 in the UK and # 1 in Australia.

Dion and the Belmonts were a leading American vocal group of the late 1950s. All members were from the Bronx, New York, one of the five boroughs of New York City. The group formed when Dion DiMucci, lead singer (born July 18, 1939), joined The Belmonts – Carlo Mastrangelo, bass-baritone (born October 5, 1938), Fred Milano, second tenor (August 22, 1939 – January 1, 2012), and Angelo D'Aleo, first tenor (born February 3, 1940), in late 1957.
After an unsuccessful single on Mohawk Records in 1957, the group signed with Laurie Records in early 1958. The breakthrough came when their very first Laurie release, "I Wonder Why" reached No. 22 on the Billboard Top 100 charts, and they appeared for the first time on the nationally televised American Bandstand show, hosted by Dick Clark. They followed up with the ballads "No One Knows" (No. 19) and "Don’t Pity Me" (No. 40), which they also performed on Bandstand.
This early success brought Dion and the Belmonts their first major tour in late 1958, with The Coasters, Buddy Holly and Bobby Darin. It was followed by the historic, "Winter Dance Party" tour featuring Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper. On February 2nd 1959, after playing the Surf Ballroom, Holly arranged to charter a plane. Dion decided he couldn't afford the $36 cost to fly to the next venue. "$36 seemed like an awful lot of money to me," he said, and told Holly, no. Shortly after midnight, on February 3rd 1959, the plane crashed near Clear Lake, Iowa, with Holly, Valens, The Big Bopper, and the pilot, Roger Peterson, all being killed. Bobby Vee, then an unknown artist, performed in Holly’s place at the very next concert. Later, Jimmy Clanton, Frankie Avalon, and Fabian were hired to finish the tour in place of the three deceased headliners.

I took the privilege of mixing over this one of a kind video clip of Dion with a Clean and digitally remastered to a 720p Hd and replaced the it with the (Original) song by Dion & The Del Satins. Dion left the Belmont's and went solo at the time he recorded this song, as a matter of fact "The Wanderer" was actually on the B side to "The Majestic" a single released by the record label as the song that was to be Dion's big hit. The Radio Jock's took it upon themselves to start flipping over the 45 record to the B side and also playing "The Wanderer" which shot straight up the U.S pop charts in December of 1961 and rose to # 2 in early 1962 -

Maresca had co-written Dion's previous # 1 hit, "Runaround Sue", but originally intended "The Wanderer" to be recorded by another group, Nino and the Ebbtides. They passed on it in favour of another Maresca song, so Dion was given it as the B-side of his follow-up single, "The Majestic", a song which his record company had chosen for him. The record was turned over by radio DJs who preferred "The Wanderer", which duly entered the US charts in December 1961 and rose to # 2 in early 1962. It also reached # 10 in the UK and # 1 in Australia.

Dion said of "The Wanderer":[1]
At its roots, it's more than meets the eye. "The Wanderer" is black music filtered through an Italian neighborhood that comes out with an attitude. It's my perception of a lot of songs like "I'm A Man" by Bo Diddley or "Hoochie Coochie Man" by Muddy Waters. But you know, "The Wanderer" is really a sad song. A lot of guys don't understand that. Bruce Springsteen was the only guy who accurately expressed what that song was about. It's "I roam from town to town and go through life without a care, I'm as happy as a clown with my two fists of iron, but I'm going nowhere." In the fifties, you didn't get that dark. It sounds like a lot of fun but it's about going nowhere.
Maresca had co-written Dion's previous # 1 hit, "Runaround Sue", but originally intended "The Wanderer" to be recorded by another group, Nino and the Ebbtides. They passed on it in favour of another Maresca song, so Dion was given it as the B-side of his follow-up single, "The Majestic", a song which his record company had chosen for him. The record was turned over by radio DJs who preferred "The Wanderer", which duly entered the US charts in December 1961 and rose to # 2 in early 1962. It also reached # 10 in the UK and # 1 in Australia.

8 Things You Might Not Know About The Lone Wanderer (in text form)
8. At some point between the ages of 10 and 16, the Lone Wanderer scored four strikeouts in the Vault 101 baseball games, and possibly became MVP.
7. The Lone Wanderer as a baby was voiced by Jake Howard, the son of Todd Howard, on his first birthday.
6. Ironically, though they are called the Lone Wanderer, they are the only player character thus far to be seen with a companion in the final cut scene unlike Fallout, Fallout 2, or Fallout: New Vegas.
5. The Lone Wanderer is shown in promotional images as being a Caucasian male with brown hair, which is the first pre-made appearance in the character creation phase at the start of the game.
4. The legendary Fallout Shelter weapon, the Lone Wanderer, is a reference to the Lone Wanderer and the 10mm pistol they receive at the beginning of the game.
3. The Lone Wanderer is named "Albert" in Fallout 3 previews
2. July 13, 2258, the birthday of the Lone Wanderer, is a Tuesday.
1- By 2297, 39 years after the events of Fallout 3, the Lone Wanderer had disappeared from the Capital Wasteland, and their fate was unknown. On the 10th of September, Moira Brown began work on a biography of the Lone Wanderer. The first edition of the Collector’s Edition of the Fallout 3 Official Game Guide contains a terminal entry by Moira Brown from September 10th, 2997. She says the following about the Lone Wanderer: Just shipped out another crate of survival guides, and the caravans just can't seem to get enough of them. Sheriff Simms says they've really put Megaton on the map—pretty ironic, since I've had to redraw that map about a million times since the first edition came out 20 years ago. At least all the attention means there's no shortage of assistants, but I'm never getting another assistant like the Lone Wanderer who stumbled into my shop so long ago. Just about everyone in the Capital Wasteland has a story about the Lone Wanderer, even though precious few ever really knew him. But that doesn't stop them from telling crazy tall tales about how he saved their lives, or blew up a mountain, or ate a car or something. Heck, if you get Simms drunk, he'll tell you that his dad died because of the Wanderer, even though he saved the town. People can't even agree on whether the Wanderer was a man or a woman, much less a saint or a monster. But they all agree on one thing: the Lone Wanderer changed the Capital Wasteland. Of course, that's why I'm working on the new book, compiling the best and most useful tales of the Lone Wanderer for the next generation. It's not easy sorting out all the conflicting stories, but that'll be half of the fun for the readers. More importantly, between all of those crazy stories of bravery, barbarity, and everything in-between, we can all find a reason to keep on fighting our war for survival.
I guess some things never change, huh?

(Note: I raised the volume by the game a lot because a lot of people were complaining about the quiet game being quiet, so now the game is significantly louder. Now, begrudgingly, gun fights and music almost drown my voice out, dialog will still be a bit rough, but there's only so much I can do without wasting time individually adjusting every sentence of dialog of 15+ hours of footage)

The Fantasie in C major, Op. 15 (D. 760), popularly known as the Wanderer Fantasy, is a four-movement fantasy for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert in November 1822. It is widely considered Schubert's most technically demanding composition for the piano. Schubert himself said "the devil may play it," in reference to his own inability to do so properly.
Schubert composed this work in late 1822, just after breaking off work on the Unfinished Symphony, it is a four-movement work combining theme-and-variations with sonata form. Each movement transitions into the next instead of ending with a final definitive cadence, and each starts with a variation of the opening phrase of his lied "Der Wanderer." The second movement, marked "adagio," (in C sharp minor) 6:21 states the theme in virtually the same way it is presented in the song, whereas the three fast movements begin with variants in diminution (that is, shortened note values): the first movement, "allegro con fuoco ma non troppo," a monothematic sonata form in which the second theme is another variant, the third, "presto," a scherzo in compound time, and the finale, marked simply "allegro," starting as a quasi-fugue and making increasing demands on the player's technical and interpretive powers as it storms on to its conclusion.

The original recording was issued on LP in 1968. Online reviewer, James Leonard, wrote of the CD reissue:
"While not for everybody -- fans of flawless pianism should keep their distance -- Wilhelm Kempff's performances of Schubert's Wanderer Fantasie ... [is] nevertheless among the most honored and even loved performances of the work ever recorded. Although his technique had always been old-school "what's a few missed notes in the face of such profundities?" ... by the time these recordings were made in the late '60s, Kempff wasn't up to the rigors of the Wanderer Fantasie ... The big chords at the climax of the Wanderer's Adagio and the double octaves counterpoint of the closing Allegro were beyond Kempff by this point in his career, and in a lesser musician, such grievous deficiencies would be unpardonable. Yet there are such profundities in Kempff's interpretation that generations of listeners have embraced these otherwise fatal flaws as the signs of depth and insight. And they're right to do so ... "
Personally, I think that James Leonard is much too harsh because, to me, Kempff mostly seems comfortable with the technical challenges presented (perhaps just a little less so in the third movement). In any case, to dwell too much on the technical apects of this work is probably to miss the point - at least in part.

"Fallout 4 is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is the fifth major installment in the Fallout series, and was released worldwide on November 10, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
200 years after a nuclear war, Fallout 4 is set in a post-apocalyptic Boston, in which the player character emerges from an underground bunker known as a Vault. Gameplay is similar to Fallout 3. Completing quests and acquiring experience levels up the character, allowing for new abilities. With an optional first- or third-person view, players can explore Fallout 4's open world setting at will, allowing nonlinear gameplay. Additional party members can accompany the player, who will assist them in battles. Players have the ability to construct and deconstruct buildings and items, and use them to build a settlement, which can attract and be inhabited by non-playable characters."

Perhaps you're getting the ending before you receive the middle here. The lesson I'm delivering in the next few paragraphs is the conclusion I arrived at after beating my head against the wall for quite a while. I figure precluding you from having to go through some of the tribulations that I did would be a good deed ...
