Voyager (German: Homo Faber) is a 1991 English-language drama film directed by Volker Schlöndorff, and starring Sam Shepard, Julie Delpy, and Barbara Sukowa. Adapted by screenwriter Rudy Wurlitzer from the 1957 novel Homo Faber by Max Frisch, the film is about a successful engineer traveling throughout Europe and the Americas whose world view based on logic, probability, and technology is challenged when he falls victim to fate, or a series of incredible coincidences.
Voyager won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Production (Eberhard Junkersdorf), the German Film Award for Shaping of a Feature Film, and the Guild of German Art House Cinemas Award for Best German Film. It was also nominated for three European Film Awards for Best Film, Best Actress (Julie Delpy), and Best Supporting Actress (Barbara Sukowa), as well as a German Film Award for Outstanding Feature Film.
In April 1957, engineer Walter Faber (Sam Shepard) is waiting to board a flight from Caracas, Venezuela to New York City when he meets a German, Herbert Hencke (Dieter Kirchlechner), who reminds him of an old friend. Before takeoff, Walter decides not to board the airplane, but when a flight attendant discovers him still in the terminal, she escorts him aboard. During the flight, the airplane develops engine trouble and crash lands in the desert near the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains.
The Voyager is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Jenny Lewis. The album was released on July 29, 2014, by Warner Bros. Records. The album was primarily produced by Ryan Adams at his studio, PAX AM.
In May 2014, Lewis spoke to Rolling Stone about the album, saying: "Making The Voyager got me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. After Rilo Kiley broke up and a few really intense personal things happened, I completely melted down. It nearly destroyed me. I had such severe insomnia that, at one point, I didn’t sleep for five straight nights. Many of the songs on The Voyager came out of the need to occupy my mind in the moments when I just couldn't shut down."
In a July 2014, interview with Rolling Stone, she spoke about Ryan Adams producing the album, saying: "In some ways, I felt like he was needling me. He was winding me up. I was somewhat agitated at times, and I think it put me in a really cool place to perform those songs. Ryan is the most unique producer I've ever worked with, in his approach and behavior… He made me listen to five or six Creed songs, really loudly on these beautiful tube speakers. My ears were bleeding. And it was Creed! He was like, "This is great music. I want you to hear it." And by the third song, I was like "Huh. Umm. Yeah, I can maybe see that."
Voyager is the 17th music album by Mike Oldfield, released in 1996 by Warner. It is a Celtic-themed album with new compositions intertwined with traditional pieces.
The album was the last in the original three album deal which Oldfield had signed with Warner after leaving Virgin, starting with Tubular Bells II. Oldfield would stay with Warner until 2003, where his final album for the label was Tubular Bells 2003.
In an interview from the time, Oldfield claimed that the album was one of his quickest to create, only taking a month and a half to record, also claiming that he composed and recorded some songs in one morning.
The music on this album is the most overtly Celtic music Mike Oldfield has produced. The album had originally been recorded acoustically using only hand-played instruments. Apparently the daughter of an executive of Warner Music expressed her feelings that the album may have been a little boring; thus Oldfield added Synthesizers and more instruments to the album.

Filmed in Philadelphia, PA in a fountain across from the Philadelphia Museum of Art (Rocky Steps). Also see a pool-filmed video of this boat: https://youtu.be/GtEIRxv93uc This boat is a complete blast. I'm an RC-quadcopter builder and flyer and I must admit this is pretty close to being just as fun - surely much more simpler and safer! About the boat - it's sleek looking and cool! It turns on a dime! This thing *cruises* at slow speeds and zips at high speeds. It's durable! Hitting the sides of the fountain (and pools) many times. Getting tripped up/stuck by the pool cleaning hose dozens of times and the propeller withstood a beating. I mounted my GoPro Hero4 Session on top of the boat with a sticky tape (surfboard) GoPro mount. NOTE, this does make it top-heavy and more prone to...

Long winding road where will you lead me?
As far west as man can go before he starts heading east
San Francisco, but where from there?
Out on the ocean where the dreamers go
Where the moonlight dolphins play
'cos I know where my spirit's free
I know where my destiny takes me
I know where my spirit's free
Into the heart of America
Into the arms of a new world
Into the heart of a new world dream, and free
And Thursday's child has got a long, long way to go
And Thursday's child has got a long, long way to go
And Thursday's child has got a long, long way to go
For those who seek shall be those who find
To push back the boundaries forever for mankind
The boy who made his mark in the world today
So spread your wings and fly away
Copper green Victorian looking out to sea
The first footsteps in India is where my ship takes me
I'm a wandering stranger just trying to find some answers for me
I know where my spirit's free
Into the heart of America
Into the arms of a new world
Into the heart of a new world dream... and free
I put my hand to my head and I look to the sea and think
