JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Mar. 27, 2007)--Snowflakes and marijuana leafs mark the side of each of the helicopters at Coast Guard Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron in Jacksonville. Each snowflake and marijuana leaf represents a cocaine or marijuana seizure that resulted from the efforts of the Coast Guard aircrew piloting it. The armed helicopter interdiction unit has stopped 114 go-fasts since 1998 preventing more than $8 billion worth of illegal narcotics from hitting U.S. streets.
