KV Anand opens up about his latest release Anegan and his experience working with Dhanush. Watch the video to know more about the film!
Anegan (English: Multiple Single Person) is a Indian Tamil romantic thriller film directed by K. V. Anand. The film stars Dhanush,Amyra Dastur, Aishwarya Devan and Karthik, with Atul Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi, Aishwarya Devan and Jagan in supporting roles. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film's soundtrack album and background score composed by Harris Jayaraj. Cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing was done by Anthony. The visual effects of the movie is handled by Endhiran fame V. Srinivas Mohan. The film was listed by Behindwoods in its "Top 10 most Anticipated films of 2014". The movie is scheduled to release on 13 February 2015. As per the live audience, the movie has got positive reviews.

K. V. Anand is an Indian cinematographer, film director and former photo journalist. After working for a short period as a journalist, he became a cinematographer in the early 1990s, working for about fifteen films in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. In 2005, Anand turned film director with the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen (2005) and rose to fame with his second film, Ayan (2009). Anand won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his debut film as a cinematographer, Thenmavin Kombath, in 1995.
K. V. Anand was born in Chennai, India graduated with Bachelor's degree in Physics from D. G. Vaishnav, Chennai followed by Master's degree in Visual Communications from Loyola College, Chennai. Anand, during his college days participated in annual trekking expeditions in the Himalayas. His exploratory trips to various remote locations in India triggered his passion in photography. Anand participated in inter-collegiate, state and national level photography contests. His visual images earned him numerous photography awards.

In a letter to his father James Hamilton, published in the Royal Dutch-American Gazette, he described the response of the Dutch governor of St. Croix to a hurricane that raked that island on August 31, 1772. "Our General has issued several very salutary and humane regulations and both in his publick and private measures, has shewn himself the Man." [dubious – discuss] In the Southern U.S. states, the phrase came to be applied to any man or any group in a position of authority, or to authority in the abstract. From about the 1950s the phrase was also an underworld code word for police, the warden of a prison or other law enforcement or penal authorities.

Looks like Vijay Sethupathi has become the current 'in demand' actor in Kollywood. Following a string of successes, the actor has signed on his next project with 'Anegan' director KV Anand. The director took to Twitter to make the annoucement. Archana Kalpathi of AGS also confirmed the news via her twitter with the hashtag AGS18, as this will be their 18th film. But it looks like Mr. Sethupathi might have his work cut out for him, as he will be sharing screenspace with actor, producer and musician T.Ranjendar. T. Rajender to star with Vijay Sethupathi in K.V. Anand’s new film
In a latest development, the multi-faceted and mightily talented film-maker T. Rajender would be essaying a prominent role in cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand’s untitled new directorial venture which would star Vijay Sethupathi in the lead.
Anand, who made Suriya’s Maattrraan, Jiiva’s Ko and Dhanush’s Anegan in the past, is gearing up to make his next directorial venture which would be produced by AGS Entertainment. This would be the 18th production venture of the company and brings T. Rajender, K.V. Anand and Vijay Sethupathi for the first time together to work.
Anand would be penning the story and screenplay of the film besides directing it. Writers-duo of Su(ndaram)-Ba(lakrishnan) and lyricist Kabilan Vairamuthu would be jointly penning the dialogues of the film. Heroine, other cast members and technicians to work in the film haven’t yet been finalized so far.

On the other hand, a politician (Kota) and Chief-minister (Prakash Raj) try everything to come to power again in the coming elections. At the same time, a young and highly educated leader Vasanth (Ajmal) fields in the same elections and campaigns rigorously for clean politics. Aswin wholly supports Vasanth and publishes photos of wrongdoings of Kota and CM. At a massive campaign meeting of Vasanth, a bomb explodes killing several people including journalist Pia. This bomb incident creates further sympathy towards Vasanth and he comes to power. The film then throws a surprise twist.

K. V. Anand and Sabu Cyril won National Film Awards for Best Cinematography and Best Production Design respectively. Music directors Berny-Ignatius received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music.[1] R.D. Burman was initially signed in as the music director for the film, as revealed by Burman himself in an interview to journalists in Cochin, during his visit to the city, just a few weeks before his death. But he died before he could complete the compositions of the film, and was later replaced. The film emerged as a blockbuster at the Kerala box office and became the highest grossing Malayalam film of 1994 and got a run of 250 days at the theaters.[2] The film is among the best comedy films in the history of Malayalam cinema.[3] The film received two National Film Awards and five Kerala State Film Awards in various categories

Aswin (Jiva) is enthusiastic photojournalist working in a news daily called Neti Vaartha. Two female reporters Renuka (Karthika) and Saro (Pia) are close to him and both love him but his heart beats for only Renuka. On the other hand, a politician (Kota) and Chief-minister (Prakash Raj) try everything to come to power again in the coming elections. At the same time, a young and highly educated leader Vasanth (Ajmal) fields in the same elections and campaigns rigorously for clean politics. Aswin wholly supports Vasanth and publishes photos of wrongdoings of Kota and CM. At a massive campaign meeting of Vasanth, a bomb explodes killing several people including journalist Pia. This bomb incident creates further sympathy towards Vasanth and he comes to power. The film then throws a surprise twist.
