This video was made to illustrate the connection between Egyptian culture and indigenous African culture. They are entirely one in the same, hairstyles,religion,and cattle fixation. I will be making more videos in the future, going deeper on the subject of Hamitic peoples and civilization. Let us put an end to the rubbish concocted by the British, and early European thinkers alike. Afrocentric you say? Let's examine something about the term Africa. Africa is a European invention, an agnomen given to the Roman general Scipio Africanus who defeated Hannibal at the battle of Zama on October 19 202 BC. The Greeks originally attributed the name Ethiopia to the continent. Ethiopia meaning 'burnt face", which gave an accurate description of peoples living south of the Mediterranean sea. So the word Africa is not of African origin, but European origin. Who then can be considered an African?
Now the Bible whether you believe it to be real or not paints a much clearer picture about the origin of mankind. But let's specifically focus on the black race, which is descendant from the real literal patriarchal figure named Ham(Chem), who's wife was black. Ham is the father of the black race, and anyone who fits the description of being black. His sons were Mizriam,Put,Canaan,and Cush.

Old report on modern Nubians in Egypt. Note that these peoples are mixed and straight up Nubians are the jet-black like many Sudanese. However, it is good to note that even with mixing, they have the Africa mindset instead of the arab one. Of course this is not widely publicized.
The darkest Africans known as Nubians were once the power in Egypt - as Egyptians, then they were pushed downward into Sudan and practically all black or black enough people in Egypt have been called Nubians, yet no one is called Egyptian except Copts who claim that. It is safe to assume that so-called arabs of Sudan are the REAL Egyptians and south Sudanese are real Nubians. It's a little more complex than that, but you get the idea

Aswan is the smallest of the three major tourist cities on the Nile. Being the furthest south of the three, it has a large population of Nubian people, mostly resettled from their homeland in the area flooded by Lake Nasser. Aswan is the home of many granite quarries from which most of the Obelisks seen in Luxor were sourced. Aswan was the ancient Egyptians' gateway. Nubia (southern Egypt, the area around Aswan) lies on the border between the Arab and African worlds and is also called "the gateway to Africa." The Nubians seem to lack the Egyptians; both their appearance and their culture is closely related to that of the more southern African peoples. The Nubians have a strong social bond. Which is reinforced by the joint history: The construction of the dam at Aswan the Nubians lost their original habitat. The dam Lake Nasser, emerged with a length of 500 km the largest reservoir in the world. It extends far into Sudan. The lake, built to provide electricity to Egypt was once the collective trauma of the Nubians. In the lake almost all Nubia disappeared. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated to the area around Aswan to Sudan. Nubian monuments have been moved to higher ground with the help of the international community. Since 1997, in the Nubian museum the history of the Nubians preserved; a paltry concession to a people who lost his land forever. In the Nubian museum are hundreds of art and objects from the drowned land gathered . The Nubian civilization is one of the oldest in the world. Because no written language has survived, but the Nubian has survived only as a spoken language is to this culture little research. The Nubian history has gone through a particularly rich development. Ancient Nubia had gold mines and the area on the main trade route with the rest of Africa. About 100 thousand Nubians live in Kibera, one of the biggest slums in Africa.
Kibera's population is made up of almost 1 million people from different parts of Kenya.
Nubians are descendants of soldiers who were transported forcefully from Sudan by the British colonial government in the 1920's.
They were enlisted to fight for the British army in the first and second world wars as part of the "King's African Rifles".
Then as a token, the Nubians were settled in an area that was in colonial days — prime land in Kenya. They called it "Kibra" which means forest in Arabic.
But the British never gave the Nubians title deeds and the land is still owned by the government.
Abdul Faraj is a scholar and a Nubian elder who campaigns for his community's rights. He blames the situation in Kibera today on corruption and says part of Kibera should be given back to the Nubians.
[Abdul Faraj, Nubian Elder]:
"As a result of this huge rural urban migration, aided and abetted by the administration, namely chiefs and D.O.'s in Kibera, they arrogated to themselves the right to allocate land to their cronies, of course for money... very, very corrupt practice and this drew quite a lot of people into Kibera. This is our argument, a proper decongestion of Kibera and then allocating it as a single block to the Nubians — remaining some 800 acres."
[Fred Osingo, Kibera Resident]:
"Everyone is entitled to their own land, but they need to go to the government instead of implying that the Luhyas, the Kisiis, the Kikuyus should leave because the area belongs to the Nubians. That is not right."
George Olali and his family moved from a two-room mud house to this three bedroom flat. The government plans to keep people here temporarily as they work on rebuilding the entire slum over the next nine years.
[George Olali]:
"There is such a big difference here. Our old house did not even have windows. This one has good ventilation and indoor plumbing, a toilet and a bathroom. Things I did not have before."
The Nubian ties to Kenya are in Kibera, and like everyone else, they want life here to get better. If the plans to upgrade the slum are going to work, the government cannot afford to ignore issues that could affect the future of all the people who call Kibera their home.

Who are the Nubians?
Nubians are the ancestors of modern Northern Sudanese people. According to the Biblical Table of Nations, the Nubians/ Kushites are the descendants of Ham, the son of Noah, and according to the system of linguistic classification (which is increasingly less used by modern historians) the modern Nubian language is classified to be within the Afro-Asiatic languages of North Africa. Recently, Nubain has been commonly identified with the Eastern-Sudanic language family.

Nubians
The term Nubian describes an ethnic group that originated in modern-day Sudan and Egypt. Today, people of Nubian descent primarily live in Sudan, and inhabit the region between Wadi Halfa in the north and Al Dabbah in the south. The main Nubian groups from north to south are the Halfaweyen, Sikut, Mahas, and Dongola. They speak a variety of Nilo-Saharan languages in the Nubian language family. Nubian people have a long history dating back to dynastic Egypt, and Nubians even founded a dynasty that ruled upper and lower Egypt during the 8th century BCE. Ancient Nubians were famous for their skill and precision with the bow.
History
Nubians are the people that inhabited the region south of Egypt, known today as Sudan and mainly settled along the banks of the Nile. They were very famous for their horsemanship, for which they rode their horses bareback and held on by their knees, making them light, mobile, and efficient, and a good cavalry choice. Their Nubian language is an Eastern Sudanic language, part of the Nilo-Saharan phylum.

I will be making more videos in the future, going deeper on the subject of Hamitic peoples and civilization. Let us put an end to the rubbish concocted by the British, and early European thinkers alike. Afrocentric you say? Let's examine something about the term Africa. Africa is a European invention, an agnomen given to the Roman general Scipio Africanus who defeated Hannibal at the battle of Zama on October 19 202 BC. The Greeks originally attributed the name Ethiopia to the continent. Ethiopia meaning 'burnt face", which gave an accurate description of peoples living south of the Mediterranean sea. So the word Africa is not of African origin, but European origin. Who then can be considered an African?
Now the Bible whether you believe it to be real or not paints a much clearer picture about the origin of mankind. But let's specifically focus on the black race, which is descendant from the real literal patriarchal figure named Ham(Chem), who's wife was black. Ham is the father of the black race, and anyone who fits the description of being black. His sons were Mizriam,Put,Canaan,and Cush.

Aswan is the home of many granite quarries from which most of the Obelisks seen in Luxor were sourced. Aswan was the ancient Egyptians' gateway. Nubia (southern Egypt, the area around Aswan) lies on the border between the Arab and African worlds and is also called "the gateway to Africa." The Nubians seem to lack the Egyptians; both their appearance and their culture is closely related to that of the more southern African peoples. The Nubians have a strong social bond. Which is reinforced by the joint history: The construction of the dam at Aswan the Nubians lost their original habitat. The dam Lake Nasser, emerged with a length of 500 km the largest reservoir in the world. It extends far into Sudan. The lake, built to provide electricity to Egypt was once the collective trauma of the Nubians. In the lake almost all Nubia disappeared. Tens of thousands of people were evacuated to the area around Aswan to Sudan. Nubian monuments have been moved to higher ground with the help of the international community. Since 1997, in the Nubian museum the history of the Nubians preserved; a paltry concession to a people who lost his land forever. About 100 thousand Nubians live in Kibera, one of the biggest slums in Africa.
Kibera's population is made up of almost 1 million people from different parts of Kenya.
Nubians are descendants of soldiers who were transported forcefully from Sudan by the British colonial government in the 1920's.
They were enlisted to fight for the British army in the first and second world wars as part of the "King's African Rifles".
Then as a token, the Nubians were settled in an area that was in colonial days — prime land in Kenya. They called it "Kibra" which means forest in Arabic.
But the British never gave the Nubians title deeds and the land is still owned by the government.
Abdul Faraj is a scholar and a Nubian elder who campaigns for his community's rights. He blames the situation in Kibera today on corruption and says part of Kibera should be given back to the Nubians.
[Abdul Faraj, Nubian Elder]:
"As a result of this huge rural urban migration, aided and abetted by the administration, namely chiefs and D.O.'s in Kibera, they arrogated to themselves the right to allocate land to their cronies, of course for money... very, very corrupt practice and this drew quite a lot of people into Kibera. This is our argument, a proper decongestion of Kibera and then allocating it as a single block to the Nubians — remaining some 800 acres."
[Fred Osingo, Kibera Resident]:
"Everyone is entitled to their own land, but they need to go to the government instead of implying that the Luhyas, the Kisiis, the Kikuyus should leave because the area belongs to the Nubians. That is not right."
George Olali and his family moved from a two-room mud house to this three bedroom flat. The government plans to keep people here temporarily as they work on rebuilding the entire slum over the next nine years.
[George Olali]:
"There is such a big difference here. Our old house did not even have windows. This one has good ventilation and indoor plumbing, a toilet and a bathroom. Things I did not have before."
The Nubian ties to Kenya are in Kibera, and like everyone else, they want life here to get better. If the plans to upgrade the slum are going to work, the government cannot afford to ignore issues that could affect the future of all the people who call Kibera their home.
