A secondary school is a school which provides secondary education, between the ages of 11 and 16 or 11 and 19, after primary school and before higher education.
In Nigeria, secondary school is for children from ages 10 to 15. Secondary education is divided into two parts: the junior and senior secondary education. The junior secondary education which takes in ages 10-12 is pre-vocational and academic in scope. Most courses are compulsory, except religious and language courses (electives). For students to continue into senior secondary school, they have to make passing grades in the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examinations. In senior secondary school which now consists of ages 13-15, students are allowed to choose which areas to concentrate on, be it science, arts, commerce, or technical studies. All students have to sit for a Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), of which there are two: the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examination Council SSCE. Students must pass this before being admitted into any university.

Pasir Ris Crest Secondary School is a secondary school in Pasir Ris, Singapore.
Pasir Ris Crest Secondary has been awarded the Value-Added Gold (Express) for its 2007 GCE 'O' Level results.
Crest Secondary School is the first Specialised School for Normal Technical (SSNT) students in Singapore. It commenced its first year of operation in January 2013.
The school engages the Normal Technical students through a curriculum that largely integrates the academic learning often experienced in mainstream schools as well as the vocational training done in Singapore's Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
Unlike the mainstream way of being posted to a shortlisted secondary school by Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore, students must apply directly to Crest Secondary School after their Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).

Pasir Ris (Chinese: 巴西立 or 白沙, Tamil: பாசிர் ரிஸ்), officially Pasir Ris Town, is an urban planning area and coastal residential town located in the eastern part of Singapore.
Like other new towns, public transport facilities were factored into the development of Pasir Ris. Pasir Ris is easily accessible via bus services at Pasir Ris Bus Interchange and the Mass Rapid Transit at Pasir Ris MRT Station. Today, the new landmarks in the area are the popular NTUC Pasir Ris Resort, Pasir Ris Beach Park and White Sands, a shopping mall.
The first reference to a village of Pasir Ris, Passier Reis, appeared in 1853. There has been conjecture that perhaps this is a contraction of Pasir Hiris (pasir is "sand" and hiris means "to shred" in Malay). Pasir Ris may also mean "white sand" in Malay. Pasir Ris Town is named after the long stretch of sandy white beach along the north-east coastline of Singapore, facing Pulau Ubin. The town exudes a resort ambience and its architecture and identity take inspiration from the surrounding beach and sea elements.

Everywhere poverty reigns on this ground
Struggles for existence are the daily round
Survival of the fittest is the order of the day
A little more time, the earning of the stray
No way, no way
Is that all you have to say?
Stand up, fight back,
So far and not further
This way is wrong,
It´s time for a new order
The little child, it´s hungry and it´s riled
Its mother gave it away at the first ray of this day
No way, no way
Is that all you have to say?
Stand up, fight back,
So far and not further
This way, is wrong,
It´s time for a new order
No way, no way
