Expect Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to undo the damage from retro tax. That's the message coming in from Industry and Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who is also the MoS for finance. In an exclusive chat with ET NOW's Supriya Shrinate, Sitharaman said this one law has dented investor sentiment and the Government is committed to come clean. She also added GAAR and direct tax code cannot be implemented in the current form. A complete recast of the Companies Act may also be on the anvil, as Sitharaman says the key driver of any policy on industry will be the ease of doing business while maintaining that FDI in multi-brand retail is a strict no-no. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Must Watch: "PM Narendra Modi Backs Vijay Mallya Says Rahul Gandhi" → https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vlj1C4zEE44 -~-...
