As time passes the
Anglican church is seen to continue its downward spiral, gradually and perceptively distancing itself from it academic theological stance toward all things
Christian, in order to seek to entice the world into its doors, appealing to the flesh. We now have entertainers standing in pulpits with their puppets, and the like. We also encounter the mystery plays, even the carrying of so called crosses through shopping centres upon supposedly holy days, days in fact that honour not God, but another. So it is that one day, maybe soon, we may expect the likes of ducks to be introduced as something fascinating to congregations, to catch the attention, even as many non-conformist bodies continue to tickle the ears of congregations by having either children standing in ministerial positions, or that of great vociferous voices introduced to stir up the flesh, to excite congregations, to be carried away by the moment, whilst others pile on the charm. It is all about the flesh, not about the supernatural, the minister, in this case the priest, taking centre stage, a mighty one before the
Lord, so that God is not to be heard or seen only man, the focus upon the man, and what follows is the worship, in one form or another, of the man.
Anglicanism, born of Romanism, sets itself up as the doorway to heaven, the means whereby God may be approached, rather than directly through
Jesus Christ the Lord. This body claims it facilitates approaches unto God by its religious set up, whilst man-made priests take away the priesthood of all believers by setting themselves up as the only true priests of God, which misguides vulnerable souls, turning them from the way of truth, under a pretence of being the way to God.
What is more when it comes to the
Lord's supper, the breaking of bread, it will not openly be plain in this matter. The Anglican church will use the term
Eucharist, rather than the breaking of bread, because what it seeks to hide is the practise of the
Mass. If it were to write up its services in plain language, that the breaking of bread is to be undertaken, as simply a memorial service, then it would be coming to the light of truth, but it cannot, so it disguises what it is doing by giving fancy names and titles to parts of its services, whilst confessional boxes are lowered into place, and altars, with steps, and rails instituted, the altars not to be approached by any but a sacrificial priest in fancy dress, hand bag in the vestry.
In regard to altars. Wherever altars are instituted they not only vie with the one true altar that is above, and one true sacrifice, but in themselves signify that God has not accepted the one true, all sufficient sacrifice of the
Lamb of God, that man must continue to make sacrifice for sins on behalf of the people whom they stand to represent.
Back of it all is
Baal worship, under a very poor image of what is taken today for
Christianity, which equally is the same within Neo-Evangelicalism, the priest bringing down Christ from above, then uplifting
Christ within their gospel message, and for persons to come to a metaphorical altar to receive the sacrament of the forgiveness of sins.
