Unfortunately, they just didn't sell well enough to make the publisher happy - so they declined to pursue the series any further. I had a third one on deck, but such is life. I've often thought about producing it myself one day...but right now, I'm booked up with other projects.

My apologies! And thanks for reading,(less)

And only the two, MAPLECROFT and next year's CHAPELWOOD. In all honesty, I wanted MAPLECROFT to be a stand-alone, and not do a follow-up at all; so the two books are set thirty years apart, and are quite different (yet of the same vibe, I believe). After that... barring unforeseen changes/conditions...I'm moving on from Lizzie.(less)

So spring has sprung, and I've been largely off the internet for a week or so. I needed a break after the death march of the Brimstone draft, and I've been playing catch-up on other writing and/or writing business miscellany...and beginning the seasonal yard work. I hired a little help to get things underway, and now the place is looking pretty keen: everything is mowed and trimmed; perennials... Read more of this blog post »

Bojan Ratković Dear Cherie,

I've been immersing myself in steampunk for some time as I work on my own novel, and I am really enjoying the Clockwork Century books (Dreadnaught is my favorite thus far!). The characters are vibrant, the descriptions are wonderful, and you've covered just about all the trademarks of steampunk, but in fresh new ways. Your books are definitely having an influence on my own work, so thank you for that!

P.S. Thanks for uncovering the true and 100% scientifically sound history of the American Civil War, which the notoriously pro-Zombie secret government Illuminati have been trying to cover up by erasing all references to "rotters" from the history books!

Row Thank you for the friend-ness! You are definitely one of my favorite authors, I get so much joy from your work, and has really been a help in inspiring me to write my own novels! Thank you for all you do, and please don't stop writing wonderful things!

sonicbooming I wanted to thank you for the joy I've received through your writing. I just finished the first book in the Eden Moore series and eagerly starting the second. I live in Ontario Canada now, but I grew up in the south and your story takes me back to my childhood. Not as many ghosts as Eden, but the same love of nature. :) Thank you.

VampireNovelFan Thanks for the friendship! I was a bit disappointed to learn that the Cheshire Red series is in limbo of sorts because it became an instant fave--which is a rarity for me. But I look forward to reading your other series as well. You're a wonderful author!

I started Bloodshot and I am so far amazed! I love it and I am only about 1/4 of the way into it.
Well done! It will be a favorite I can tell already!

April Great thanks!

Cherie Priest I'd be amazed if it wasn't. It's a Bantam (Random House) release, so it should be on all the major devices.

Cherie Priest Hey there :) I am led to understand that Clementine is processing ... and that it should be available in other formats soon. That's all I know about that one, I'm afraid.

As for the Eden books - I have zero input on that whatsoever. I don't hold the ebook rights, and have no influence over where they go, or how they come out. Sorry!

Posthums Couple questions, do you have nay idea when Clementine will be available for the Nook? Also, Wings to the Kingdom is not available as an ebook for B&N, but Not Flesh Nor Feathers is. I just finished the first book in the series and would love to get the 2nd for the Nook.
