Tren Kargo Terpanjang di Malaysia Dan Asia Tenggara
Tren kargo Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) membawa 120 kontena seberat 2,400 tan yang telah berlepas dari Stesen KTM Pelabuhan Klang ke Stesen Padang Besar, Perlis
jam 9.55 malam 27/1/16 telah tiba di Pinang Tunggal, Kepala Batas kira-kira jam 11.10 pagi 28/1/16.
Tren sepanjang 1.9 kilometer itu mencatat rekod dalam Malaysia Book Of Records (MBOR) dalam kategori tren kargo terpanjang di Malaysia dan Asia Tenggara.
Menurut sumber tren kargo tersebut telah selamat tiba di Stesen Keretapi Pandang Besar, Perlis kira-kira jam 1.15 petang 28/1/16.

Taking the KTMB ETS Train Platinum class coach. Train number 9213 from Taiping to Kuala Lumpur. The train departs from Padang Besar.
For this destination, Platinum coach has a RM15 premium over the Gold coach.

On the night train from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur with KTMB's Ekspres Senandung Sutera 24up sleeper train hauled by YDM4 multiple units 6657 and 6535.
A comfortable journey throughout the night as passengers may sleep comfortably on the sleeper train, this sleeper class featured is the ADNS class.

Update: Only 2 locomotives are still in working order. 22115 'Kuala Lipis' and 22127 'Tanjong Bunga'.
The 22 Class were the third type of diesel-electric locomotives purchased by Keretapai Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) or Malayan Railway. Built by English Electric in 1971, there were 40 locomotives altogther and they were used extensively for either freight or passenger trains all over the KTMB network. In 2008, only 4 remained, mostly confined to pulling the East Coast Line Mail Train. Only time will tell when they too will be gone. 2 locomotives have been preserved; one at the National Museum in Kuala Lumpur and the other at Tampin. Unfortunately, the rest of them met their end at the breakers yard. Here's a tribute to one of the longest running and probably the most loved locomotive in Malaysia.

Working towards obtaining my private pilot license.
This is my twenty third training lesson flight (3.2 Hobbs Hour Today, 29.7 Total Hours) with 424 Aviation Inc, in Miami, FL.
My certified flight instructor (CFI) is Joe Ferrera. The airplane used was a Cessna 172R, with tail number N994WW, out of Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (KTMB).
Today's flight:
- 200nm Cross-Country flight with my instructor
- Filling/Opening/Closing Flight Plan
- Requesting Flight Following
- Instrument flying while under the hood
Normally, I like to share my video in their raw state; nothing edited out.
However, since this flight was 2-3 hours long, it would yield a very large video.
I've decided to therefore compress the flights where nothing of importance occurs.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) (Jawi: كريتاڤي تانه ملايو) or Malayan Railways Limited is the main rail operator in Peninsular Malaysia. The railway system dates back to the British colonial era, when it was first built to transport tin. Previously known as the Federated Malay States Railways (FMSR) and the Malayan Railway Administration (MRA), Keretapi Tanah Melayu acquired its current name in 1962. The organization was corporatized in 1992, but remains wholly owned by the Malaysian government. Fares are generally reasonable, but the low frequency of the intercity trains does not usually make them competitive with other modes of transportation.
The 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) gauge railway network in Peninsular Malaysia which is controlled by KTMB consists of two main lines and several branch lines.
The West Coast line runs from Padang Besar on the Malaysia-Thailand Border in Perlis (where it connects with the State Railway of Thailand's network) to Singapore via Butterworth, Penang (for connections to Penang) and Kuala Lumpur. It is called the West Coast line because it serves the West Coast states of Peninsular Malaysia.

Update: Only 2 locomotives are still in working order. 22115 'Kuala Lipis' and 22127 'Tanjong Bunga'. The 22 Class were the third type of diesel-electric locomotives purchased by Keretapai Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) or Malayan Railway. Built by English Electric in 1971, there were 40 locomotives altogther and they were used extensively for either freight or passenger trains all over the KTMB network. In 2008, only 4 remained, mostly confined to pulling the East Coast Line Mail Train. Only time will tell when they too will be gone. 2 locomotives have been preserved; one at the National Museum in Kuala Lumpur and the other at Tampin. Unfortunately, the rest of them met their end at the breakers yard. Here's a tribute to one of the longest running and probably the most loved locomotive in ... -

Working towards obtaining my private pilot license.
This is my twenty third training lesson flight (3.2 Hobbs Hour Today, 29.7 Total Hours) with 424 Aviation Inc, in Miami, FL.
My certified flight instructor (CFI) is Joe Ferrera. The airplane used was a Cessna 172R, with tail number N994WW, out of Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport (KTMB).
Today's flight:
- 200nm Cross-Country flight with my instructor
- Filling/Opening/Closing Flight Plan
- Requesting Flight Following
- Instrument flying while under the hood
Normally, I like to share my video in their raw state; nothing edited out.
However, since this flight was 2-3 hours long, it would yield a very large video.
I've decided to therefore compress the flights where nothing of importance occurs.

This is the latest electric multiple unit to hit the rails of Malaysia. This is the Class 92 Electric Multiple Unit which is the first six-car commuter set for KTM Komuter, a subsidary service of Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM). 38 sets were ordered by the Ministry of Transport (MOT), Malaysia and launched on 8 March 2012.
The Class 92s, also known as the SCS and myKomuter, were built in 2011 by CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Company in China and were delivered in November the same year. They boasts LCD TV screens, LED destination displays, interactive route system maps and wheelchair space, amongst many other features.
The Class 92s are powered using Siemens traction motors. The trains are deployed on services along the Batu Caves - Port Klang rotue and the Tanjong Malim - Sungei Gadut routes (mainly serving the Rawang - Seremban services).
