Fargo was a brand of truck manufactured and sold in Canada by the Chrysler Corporation. Fargo trucks were almost identical to Dodge trucks, save for trim and name, and were sold by Chrysler-Plymouth dealers. Production began in the late 1920s. The name Fargo was discontinued after 1972 for Canada, but lived longer for other countries around the world under the Chrysler Corporation's badge engineering marketing approach. Most of the Fargo trucks and bus chassis sold in Argentina, Finland, Australia, India, and other countries in Europe and Asia were made in Chrysler's Kew (UK) plant.
***** After the input of those below, I went and researched the Dodge Fargo trucks. Apparently Dodge formed the Fargo line of trucks to capitalize on the name recognition of the previous Fargo Motor Car Company out of Chicago. This particular truck was most likely manufactured in Canada as nearly all were after about 1930 or so. Chrysler used the Fargo nameplate on the trucks that it sold for export outside the U.S.
