32nd Annual Tulip Festival Street Fair
The Mount Vernon Downtown Association Presents the 32nd Annual Tulip Festival Street Fair April 15th-17th on South 1st Street. Stroll among hundreds of new and returning arts & crafts vendors from six states and British Columbia, for the best art, photography, jewelry, clothing, gourmet food stuffs, unique gifts, and delicious food court offerings. Enjoy the spectacular Riverfront Plaza, hosting the Rick Epting Memorial Stage with live music all day every day, and plenty of room for sitting or dancing. Face-painting, street entertainers and unique artisan demonstrations offer fun for the whole family.
‘Pint for a Pint’ Blood Drive

Anyone who gives blood at the Whatcom Young Professionals Blood Drive on April 15th will receive a $5 voucher redeemable for food or beer at Aslan Brewing Company! (Must be 21 to redeem for beer!). Sunnyland Annual Cornhole Tournament & Hootenanny
Sunnyland Elementary School is holding its annual Cornhole Tournament & Hootenanny on Saturday, April 16th at the Sportsplex in Bellingham. This is a fundraiser to support all students at Sunnyland Elementary School. This is a community all-ages event with something for everyone!
Hootenanny general admission is just $5 per person. The event includes a Competitive Cornhole Tournament, a kids’ corner, a beer garden, food for purchase, a raffle/auction and live music too! For a complete list of events and prices, click HERE.
The PTA at Sunnyland strives to provide equal opportunities to all students regardless of their families income or inability to pay. More than 50% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of these students do not have access to supplemental resources and enrichment activities without the support of the PTA. The Sunnyland PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax-deductible.
