[close] "On paths unknown, we tread with wonder. Through a glass darkly, to brave new worlds and beyond we go." We seek to explore and do critical reading from any genre on challenging literature, both new and established, that links into themes of exploring ideas relating to various aspects of culture, society and technology, as well as what is loosely called 'literary fiction'; and in addition, non-English translated literature from around the world. We also discuss classics as well as avant-garde literature from all eras inasfar as they have challenged the world around them. The idea is to provide not only a forum for discussion, but a database of book-ish information for the eclectic reader. Our threads all remain open indefinitely, so you can browse through and read and/or contribute at your own leisure.

[close] Romance novels are read and discussed. For the fun of it, members also write amateur romance stories. We write as a group, each in charge of our own content that is joined to the other cells to make a complete story. This is an adult group and you must be at least 18 to join. This is a full participation group. Lurkers are not welcome. We need to hear from you. You can be one of the writers, a reader, a researcher, an advisor, an editor or a romance book reader. You can join into the many games available. Your thoughts, ideas, opinions and concerns are important...so speak up...we hear you better that way.

[close] Welkom bij Books Ever After! Het doel van de groep is lekker luchtig over boeken kletsen. We hebben geen verplichtingen. Spreekt een boek je minder aan, dan lees je 'm niet mee. We lezen van alles. We hebben sowieso altijd twee maandboeken: een fantasy/dystopian en een chicklit/contemporary. We hebben een overzicht van alles wat we (gaan) doen, want we hebben naast onze maandboeken hebben we iedere maand een readalong, een buddyread of een readathon. We kiezen al onze boeken samen met onze leden. We hebben ook onze eigen Reading Challenge! We hebben een eigen Instagramaccount waar we allerlei foto's van en over de club plaatsen. We regrammen vaak, vergeet dus niet de boekenfoto's de hashtag #BooksEverAfter mee te geven! Lijkt het je leuk? Sluit dan lekker aan (en stel jezelf even voor in het voorstelrondje) en hou je daarna aan onze regels: • Wees aardig voor elkaar, respecteer elkaars mening en gevoelens • Deel alles wat je wilt delen, maar doe het wel in de juiste en daarvoor bestemde topics • Heb het niet over illegale manieren om boeken te verkrijgen/verspreiden • Plaats alles dat ook maar enigszins een spoiler zou kunnen zijn in de spoilertag.
