Bigues i Riells is a village in the province of Barcelona and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 28.6 square kilometres (11.0 sq mi) and as of 2011 had a population of 8755 people.
Riells I Viabrea is a town in La Selva - Girona, Catalonia between Sant Celoni I Hostalrich The name '"Riells'" is derived from the four streams that go underground. In the 1960s, Riells was little more than a wood with a lake between Montgó, itself much smaller than it is today, and el Poble Sec. Housing construction began in the 1970s. In the 1990s–2000s, street paving began.
