Donald Trump's embattled campaign manager Corey Lewandowksi will not be prosecuted for battery, according to a Florida prosecutor. Palm Beach County State Attorney David Aronberg will announce on Thursday that Lewandowski will not face charges for battery after grabbing a former Breitbart reporter's arm in March. The reporter, Michelle Fields, is pursuing a defamation case against Lewandowski who denied touching her initially despite video evidence. Fields for her part seemed to be taken by surprise by the announcement on Wednesday.

Aronberg was trying to cut a deal in which Lewandowski would have publicly apologized to Fields, something to which she said she agreed. "For those asking, office of prosecutor asked 2 weeks ago if I'd be ok with an apology from Corey. I said ya but haven't heard back about it," Fields tweeted. Video from Trump's own security cameras, released by the Jupiter, Florida police department, clearly show that Fields was grabbed which Lewandowski denied.
