Megyn Kelly Wrecks DL Hughley on Fox News about Blacks and Police Shootings (REACTION)
Comedian and radio host
DL Hughley had a very tense discussion about police shootings with
Megyn Kelly of
Fox News on the
Kelly File. The discussion started off bringing up
Mark Fuhrman, who had just got done having an interview with Kelly about the Philando
Castile shooting, in which he said that the girlfriend,
Diamond (Lavish)
Reynolds may be lying about many key issues of the case. The conversation they had started off not too tense, but it became tense as it progressed.
Kelly and Hughley were on opposite sides of
the tracks throughout much of the 5 minute discussion. DL seemed to disregard any evidence that went against his narrative of black victimization and police criminality. Megyn Kelly threw him a bone when she admitted that the
DOJ found rampant racism in
Ferguson (even though that wasn't really true). She also said that the DOJ found that the "hands up, don't shoot" narrative was completely false. DL Hughley did not want to hear the latter part, saying that there was no evidence found, but had no problem believing, and repeating, the former, because it supported his narrative about police being bad and racist
.
Further into the interview, it became crystal clear what
D.L. Hughley's intention was from the beginning, which was to get on Fox News and "defend black people." Many in the black community say that
FOX News is a racist, white supremacist, and anti-black network.
Maybe they don't watch the black victim pornography that is rampant on the
MSNBCs of the world.
Wall to wall coverage of black people, even as adults, being as helpless as children.
The facts of who are really bigoted and who are not, does not matter to the black liberal, and to liberals in general. There is a set narrative that must be followed, no matter what.
Evidence, testimony, none of it matters. Hughley and Kelly had what amounted to a pointless interview on paper, but on a philosophical level, it was very important. It illustrates the general differences that exist between
Americans within
American culture, underlining why there is so much strife. Hopefully, more of us will be able to recognize our differences as being real, then be able to respect them, and ultimately be able to live with them. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.
