Michael Hampton (born November 15, 1956) is a funk/rock guitarist. He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted in 1997 with fifteen other members of Parliament-Funkadelic.
Hampton was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and started his professional career when he was recruited as a seventeen-year-old guitar prodigy by the band Funkadelic, which found itself in need of a lead guitarist after original guitarist Eddie Hazel left the band. Hampton impressed Funkadelic's George Clinton by performing a note-for-note rendition of Hazel's ten-minute solo "Maggot Brain". He made his debut with the band's album Let's Take It to the Stage in 1975, which is dominated by his guitar. Hampton's playing included fuzzy, Hendrix-inspired licks and wailing harmonics. Due to his young age, Hampton was nicknamed 'Kidd Funkadelic'.
Hampton became a fixture in Funkadelic, and he continued his role as lead guitarist even during Hazel's sporadic returns to the band. Hampton's performances of "Maggot Brain" — which had become more improvised – became regular features of live Parliament-Funkadelic shows, and the song became his signature concert performance. The bonus-EP of Funkadelic's One Nation Under a Groove (1978) included a live version of the song featuring Hampton. The 12" single version of the title track was the first notable Funkadelic song to feature Mike Hampton on lead guitar. One of his most celebrated performances is the lead guitar solo on the Funkadelic hit single "(Not Just) Knee Deep" from 1979, as well the title track to the Brides of Funkenstein's second album Never Buy Texas From A Cowboy.
The following is an episode list for the MTV animated television series Beavis and Butt-Head. The series has its roots in 1992 when Mike Judge created two animated shorts, "Frog Baseball" and "Peace, Love and Understanding", which were later aired on Liquid Television of the Mike Judge Collection DVDs (see related page for a detailed listing).
Both shorts originally aired as part of Liquid Television and did not include music videos.
Mike Judge himself is highly critical of the animation and quality of these episodes, in particular the first two – "Blood Drive"/"Give Blood" and "Door to Door" – which he described as "awful, I don't know why anybody liked it... I was burying my head in the sand."
Starting this season, the show switched to a 7-minute short act, with most of the shorts running approximately 5 minutes with one music video at the end.
Hampton may refer to:
Michael /ˈmaɪkəl/ is a male given name that comes from the Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל / מיכאל (Mīkhāʼēl, pronounced [miχaˈʔel]), derived from the question מי כאל mī kāʼēl, meaning "Who is like God?" (literally, "Who is like El?). In English, it is sometimes shortened to Mike, Mikey, Mickey, or Mick.
Female forms of Michael include Michelle, Michele, Michaela, Mechelle, Micheline, and Michaelle, although Michael is occasionally seen as a female name; women named Michael include actresses Michael Learned and Michael Michele. Another form is Mychal, which can either be a male or female name.
Patronymic surnames that come from Michael include Michaels, Carmichael, MacMichael, McMichael, Micallef, Michaelson, Mikkelsen, DiMichele, Mikhaylov, Mykhaylenko, Mikeladze, Michels, and Mitchell.
The name first appears in the Hebrew Bible in the Book of Numbers, 13:13 where Sethur the son of Michael is one of 12 spies sent into the Land of Canaan. The archangel Michael features in the Book of Daniel 12:1, and in the Qur'an as Mikhail.
Maggot Brain is the third studio album by the American funk band Funkadelic, released in 1971 on Westbound Records. It was the last album that featured the original Funkadelic lineup; shortly after Maggot Brain was recorded, Tawl Ross, Eddie Hazel, Billy Nelson, and Tiki Fulwood left the band for various reasons. The album incorporates musical elements of psychedelic music, rock, gospel, and soul, with significant variation between each track. Pitchfork Media named it the 17th best album of the 1970s. In 2012, Rolling Stone ranked the album at number 479 on their list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The album is listed as one of the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
This song is a departure from the groove-oriented Funkadelic sound and is more of a traditional lyric-based acoustic rock piece. It begins with a descending acoustic guitar line which is joined by piano, bass and drums which support a cast of singers. It is a rewrite of a song by The Parliaments titled, "What You Been Growin'" and is heavily influenced by gospel music stylistically.
As students continue to develop a basic skill set throughout this course, a special emphasis will be placed on the understanding and application of those basics to the human figure. This course will emphasize a process based approach focusing on the analysis of form, construction, and perspective. This course will offer an in depth study of the figure and the surface anatomy while always maintaining a grounding in the artistic and principles of design.

Today’s Future for Indigenous Americans will begin when we stop promoting watered down educated fools. Someone whispers in our ear that we are queens and kings and the way things look today, we have been dethroned. Black history month, a phrase we’ll leave right there and pick it up Monday live on air. A part of yesterday’s problems began with us and the only thing that will make it better for us, is us, and this is how we will fix us. After 50 years, we have become television whores and today, we are now, infected with the disease of compliance and like sheep, won’t make a move until a popular mass says so. So, we throw the word Unity around and out there, tickling our ear, and we leave unity right there. Where is the action part of what we need and want in America? By Screaming “We Want ...

Subscribe to our newsletter at http://www.goldmoney.com/goldresearch. In this podcast Dominic Frisby, of the GoldMoney Foundation, interviews both Jonathan Davis, economist and wealth manager, as well as Michael Hampton, who is a private investor and author.
