In this episode we are heading into the Olypmpic National Park for a 2 Night 3 Day Backpacking trip up to Enchanted Valley. This is a wonderful 13.5 mile backpacking trail following the Quinault River up to a basin famous for its waterfalls, bear sightings, and the Chalet.

09:47-29:20 The second hike was a four day, 27 mile out-and-back hike to Enchanted Valley, in Olympic National Park. The hike includes an overnight stay in O’Neill Camp, a day in Enchanted Valley, a stopover for lunch in Pyrites Creek Campground, and then a second night at O’Neill during the return to the Graves Creek Trailhead. Along the way, you will see the relocated ranger station in Enchanted Valley. I provide an equipment discussion, including some benefits of a good tent design. You will see a demonstration of a pump style water filtration method, and there is a demonstration of freezer bag cooking of homemade dehydrated vegan, healthy meals for on the trail.
