Russian director Andrei Zvyagintsev has picked up international acclaim for his Oscar-nominated film 'Leviathan' but the drama is dividing opinion back home.

The Oscar-nominated Alexander Rodnyansky will be a producer for the Serbian film "Requiem for Mrs. J." Rodnyansky says he was attracted to the project by the strength of its director. The Russian producer helped make the movie "Leviathan," which won a Golden Globe last year. The film ended up losing the Oscar for best foreign language film to Hungary's "Son of Saul." Rodnyansky had this to say about his new producing role. "Over the course of my career I have always chosen to work with strong authors whose work tells us something about the world that we live in and capture on film and in their stories the most important issues that we face today."

http://de.euronews.com/ In Russland wird zum erste Mal ein Film in 3D produziert. In einem Ort nahe St Petersburg befindet sich der Set, hier wird sie nachgestellt, die Schlacht von Stalingrad,- der ganze Film gedreht als Rückschau aus der Perspektive der Überlebenden.
Der Ukrainer Alexander Rodnyansky hat den Film produziert, der Russe Fyodor Bondarchuk führte die Regie in dem 30 Millionen Dollar Streifen.
Alexander Rodnyansky: "Es ist eine sehr menschliche Story, nicht aus Sicht eines Marschalls oder Generals, es kommt nicht einmal eine Offiziersrolle darin vor. Es sind also Innenansichten von Leuten, die als Soldaten dabei waren. Wer die Hölle von Stalingrad länger als 2 bis 3 Tage überlebte galt schon als Vetran."
Produzent und Regisseur Fyodor Bondarchuk gilt als Schlüsselfigur des russischen Films schlechthin. So realisierte er zum Beispiel auch einen Film über den Krieg der Sowjetunion in Afghanistan, der an den russischen Kinokassen 2005 alle Rekorde brach. 3D stellt für ihn nach wie vor eine ganz besondere Herausforderung dar,- nicht zuletzt wenn es in den Schnitt geht:"Beim Schnitt verhält sich 3D einfach anders. Einerseits ist es eine Rückkehr zu klassischen Aufnahme-Techniken, andererseits darf man die völlig neuen Regeln nicht unberücksichtigt lassen, wonach man zum Beispiel Schnitte möglichst vermeiden sollte. Es ergeben sich völlig neue Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Sehr interessant!"
Die in diesem Film genutzte Technik ist die gleiche, wie im letzten Spiderman-Film.
Matthew Blute,ein amerikanischer 3D-Spezialist, erklärt, wie die 3D-Kamera arbeitet:"Wie Sie sehen, ist hier eine Kamera oben und eine zweite darunter. Was nun eigentlich passiert ist, das eine Kamera in dem Spiegel hier reflektiert wird. Wenn man dann aber beide Kameras zusammen nutz, ergibt sich ein Bildabstand, genau so als ob wie wir normalerweise mit unseren zwei Augen ein Bild betrachten würden."
Das Kriegsepos Stalingrad wird in IMAX 3D produziert und im Oktober nächsten Jahres in die russischen Kinos kommen.

Alexander Rodnyansky
Alexander Yefymovych Rodnyansky (born July 2, 1961) is a Ukrainian film director, film producer, television executive and businessman.
Life and career
Rodnyansky was born in Kyiv. During his career, Rodnyansky produced over 30 films and more than 20 television series including Stalingrad (2013) - the highest grossing Russian film ever ($67 million). Among other films produced by Rodnyansky: The 9th Company (2005), Heat (2006), Piter FM (2006), The Inhabited Island (2009), The Sun (2005), A Chef in Love (1997), A Driver for Vera (2004), East/West (1999). He created Ukrainian TV network 1+1 and for seven years was the CEO of Russian media company CTC Media.
Alexander Rodnyansky graduated from Kyiv's National University of Film, Theatre and Television as a documentary director. In 1983 he started his career at Kyivnaukfilm studio. He has directed 10 feature documentaries (including Raoul Wallenberg’s Mission and Farewell USSR 1 and 2) which won him over 40 prestigious awards both at home and abroad including the highest award for a documentary filmmaker in the USSR – the Russian National Film Award NIKA. From 1990 till 1993 he worked as a producer and film director at the German television channel ZDF.

Un Certain Regard
Un Certain Regard (French pronunciation: [œ̃ sɛʁtɛ̃ ʁəɡaʁ]; a certain regard) is a section of the Cannes Film Festival's official selection. It is run at the salle Debussy, parallel to the competition for the Palme d'Or.
This section was introduced in 1978 by Gilles Jacob. Each year, it presents a score of films with various types of visions and styles: "original and different" works which seek international recognition.
Main winners
In 1998, the Prize Un Certain Regard (French: prix un certain regard) was introduced to the section to recognize young talent and to encourage innovative and daring works by presenting one of the films with a grant to aid its distribution in France.
Since 2005, the prize consists of €30,000 financed by the Groupama GAN Foundation.

Andrey Zvyagintsev
Andrey Petrovich Zvyagintsev (Russian: Андре́й Петро́вич Звя́гинцев; born 6 February 1964) is a Russian film director and actor. He is mostly known for his 2003 film The Return, which won him a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. Following The Return, Zvyagintsev directed The Banishment and Elena. His most recent film Leviathan was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 2014.
Life and career
Zvyagintsev was born in Novosibirsk, Siberia. At the age of 20 in 1984 he graduated from the drama school in Novosibirsk as an actor. Since 1986 he has lived in Moscow where he continued his studies at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts until 1990. From 1992 to 2000 he worked as an actor for film and theater. In 2000 he began to work for the TV station REN TV and directed three episodes of the television series The Black Room.
In 2003, he directed his first feature film The Return, which received several awards, including a Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival. His second feature film The Banishment premiered at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for a Palme d'Or. In 2008, he directed "Apocrypha", a short segment for the film New York, I Love You. The segment was eventually cut from the film's theatrical release but is included on the DVD.

Film festival
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

In einem Ort nahe St Petersburg befindet sich der Set, hier wird sie nachgestellt, die Schlacht von Stalingrad,- der ganze Film gedreht als Rückschau aus der Perspektive der Überlebenden. Der Ukrainer Alexander Rodnyansky hat den Film produziert, der Russe Fyodor Bondarchuk führte die Regie in dem 30 Millionen Dollar Streifen. Alexander Rodnyansky: "Es ist eine sehr menschliche Story, nicht aus Sicht eines Marschalls oder Generals, es kommt nicht einmal eine Offiziersrolle darin vor. Es sind also Innenansichten von Leuten, die als Soldaten dabei waren. Wer die Hölle von Stalingrad länger als 2 bis 3 Tage überlebte galt schon als Vetran." Produzent und Regisseur Fyodor Bondarchuk gilt als Schlüsselfigur des russischen Films schlechthin. So realisierte er zum Beispiel auch einen Film über den Krieg der Sowjetunion in Afghanistan, der an den russischen Kinokassen 2005 alle Rekorde brach. 3D stellt für ihn nach wie vor eine ganz besondere Herausforderung dar,- nicht zuletzt wenn es in den Schnitt geht:"Beim Schnitt verhält sich 3D einfach anders. Einerseits ist es eine Rückkehr zu klassischen Aufnahme-Techniken, andererseits darf man die völlig neuen Regeln nicht unberücksichtigt lassen, wonach man zum Beispiel Schnitte möglichst vermeiden sollte. Es ergeben sich völlig neue Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Sehr interessant!" Die in diesem Film genutzte Technik ist die gleiche, wie im letzten Spiderman-Film. Matthew Blute,ein amerikanischer 3D-Spezialist, erklärt, wie die 3D-Kamera arbeitet:"Wie Sie sehen, ist hier eine Kamera oben und eine zweite darunter. Was nun eigentlich passiert ist, das eine Kamera in dem Spiegel hier reflektiert wird. Wenn man dann aber beide Kameras zusammen nutz, ergibt sich ein Bildabstand, genau so als ob wie wir normalerweise mit unseren zwei Augen ein Bild betrachten würden." Oscar-Nominated Russian Producer Will Help Make Serbian Art-House Project
The Oscar-nominated Alexander Rodnyansky will be a producer for the Serbian film "Requiem for Mrs. J." Rodnyansky says he was attracted to the project by the strength of its director. The Russian producer helped make the movie "Leviathan," which won a Golden Globe last year. The film ended up losing the Oscar for best foreign language film to Hungary's "Son of Saul." The Oscar-nominated Alexander Rodnyansky will be a producer for the Serbian film "Requiem for Mrs. J." Rodnyansky says he was attracted to the project by the strength of its director. The Russian producer helped make the movie "Leviathan," which won a Golden Globe last year. The film ended up losing the Oscar for best foreign language film to Hungary's "Son of Saul." Rodnyansky had this to say about his new producing role. "Over the course of my career I have always chosen to work with strong authors whose work tells us something about the world that we live in and capture on film and in their stories the most important issues that we face today."

http://de.euronews.com/ In Russland wird zum erste Mal ein Film in 3D produziert. In einem Ort nahe St Petersburg befindet sich der Set, hier wird sie nachgestellt, die Schlacht von Stalingrad,- der ganze Film gedreht als Rückschau aus der Perspektive der Überlebenden.
Der Ukrainer Alexander Rodnyansky hat den Film produziert, der Russe Fyodor Bondarchuk führte die Regie in dem 30 Millionen Dollar Streifen.
Alexander Rodnyansky: "Es ist eine sehr menschliche Story, nicht aus Sicht eines Marschalls oder Generals, es kommt nicht einmal eine Offiziersrolle darin vor. Es sind also Innenansichten von Leuten, die als Soldaten dabei waren. Wer die Hölle von Stalingrad länger als 2 bis 3 Tage überlebte galt schon als Vetran."
Produzent und Regisseur Fyodor Bondarchuk gilt als Schlüsselfigur des russischen Films schlechthin. So realisierte er zum Beispiel auch einen Film über den Krieg der Sowjetunion in Afghanistan, der an den russischen Kinokassen 2005 alle Rekorde brach. 3D stellt für ihn nach wie vor eine ganz besondere Herausforderung dar,- nicht zuletzt wenn es in den Schnitt geht:"Beim Schnitt verhält sich 3D einfach anders. Einerseits ist es eine Rückkehr zu klassischen Aufnahme-Techniken, andererseits darf man die völlig neuen Regeln nicht unberücksichtigt lassen, wonach man zum Beispiel Schnitte möglichst vermeiden sollte. Es ergeben sich völlig neue Gesetzmäßigkeiten. Sehr interessant!"
Die in diesem Film genutzte Technik ist die gleiche, wie im letzten Spiderman-Film.
Matthew Blute,ein amerikanischer 3D-Spezialist, erklärt, wie die 3D-Kamera arbeitet:"Wie Sie sehen, ist hier eine Kamera oben und eine zweite darunter. Was nun eigentlich passiert ist, das eine Kamera in dem Spiegel hier reflektiert wird. Wenn man dann aber beide Kameras zusammen nutz, ergibt sich ein Bildabstand, genau so als ob wie wir normalerweise mit unseren zwei Augen ein Bild betrachten würden."
Das Kriegsepos Stalingrad wird in IMAX 3D produziert und im Oktober nächsten Jahres in die russischen Kinos kommen.

The Oscar-nominated Alexander Rodnyansky will be a producer for the Serbian film "Requiem for Mrs. J." Rodnyansky says he was attracted to the project by the strength of its director. The Russian producer helped make the movie "Leviathan," which won a Golden Globe last year. The film ended up losing the Oscar for best foreign language film to Hungary's "Son of Saul." Rodnyansky had this to say about his new producing role.
