The IFI gratefully accepts donations towards its ongoing activities or towards a specific, designated area of activity e.g. IFI Education, IFI Irish Film Archive etc.
If the IFI has enriched your love of film, please help support our work. A donation, however large or small, makes all the difference.
Whilst we gratefully receive approximately 25% public funding from the Arts Council, we self-generate 75% of the revenue needed to run all these activities. As a charity, we rely on individual donations, trust and foundations, and corporate partnerships to continue to develop our wide-ranging and far-reaching programmes of cinema exhibition, archive preservation, and education.
Please help us continue to achieve incredible things. We have ambitious plans to digitise the entire Archive (over 30,000 cans of film, and growing!), to safeguard and share this extraordinary treasure trove charting Ireland’s history, for audiences now and in the future. We want to nurture the talents of young people through a nationwide network of clubs and screenings; and we are dedicated to showcasing a richly diverse programme of international, Irish and independent films, unrivalled anywhere else in Ireland.
If you would like to discuss ways to support the Irish Film Institute, please call Fiona Clark, Head of Development and Fundraising on 01 679 5744 or email development@irishfilm.ie
