On Friday 8 April 2016 One Public Estate (OPE) launched an expansion. It invites partnerships of councils to apply for support and up to £500k funding by putting forward ambitious work programmes to be delivered in collaboration with other public sector partners in the area. Find out more.

Projects involving 34 councils have bid successfully for £560,000 funding for digital schemes to transform local services and tackle problems they are already working to resolve.
£6 billion health budget devolved to Greater Manchester

As the £6 billion health budget is devolved to Greater Manchester Combined Authority today, Chairman of the Local Government Association, Lord Porter, describes the "landmark" transfer of responsibility as a "significant step in joining up social care and health in order to get the best outcomes for people".
