Olaya Herrera is a town and municipality in the Nariño Department, Colombia. Named after the former President of Colombia Enrique Olaya Herrera.
Herrera may refer to:
Herrera is a surname of Spanish origin, from the Latin FERRĀRIA, meaning "iron mine" or "iron works" and also the feminine of Latin FERRĀRIUS (and ultimately from the PIE root "bhar" to carry"), "of or pertaining to iron" ; or, alternatively, the feminine of Spanish herrero ("ironsmith", from FERRĀRIUS), which also gives the surname Herrero. Variants of the name include Ferrera and the less common Bherrera. Its equivalent in Portuguese and Galician is Ferreira. Also because of Spanish naming customs, some people are listed here with their family name as their second to last name.

Enrique Alfredo Olaya Herrera (November 12, 1880 – February 18, 1937) was a Colombian journalist and politician, President of Colombia from August 7, 1930 until August 7, 1934 representing the Colombian Liberal Party.
Olaya Herrera grew up in a time of intellectual nonconformity and erudition, in a generation that had to live in through the Thousand Days War. He studied in the local public school of his hometown Guateque, in the Department of Boyacá along his parents. He was son of Justiniano Olaya and Emperatriz Herrera, and had two brothers: Leonidas and Joaquín. When he was 12 years old, Olaya Herrera became known as the "child journalist of Guateque" after his foundation of a newspaper called "El Patriota" (The Patriot) for which he managed to obtain many exchanges with major newspapers like El Espectador based in Medellín. Olaya Herrera studied Law in the Universidad Republicana (later to become the Free University of Colombia), and founded a weekly magazine called "El Estudiante" (The Student) in a newspaper format and which was written by hand.
Enrique Olaya Herrera Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Olaya Herrera) (IATA: EOH, ICAO: SKMD) is an airport located in Medellín, Colombia, which serves regional and domestic flights. Additionally, the airport is used by general aviation and features several hangars for charters. Olaya Herrera is the second busiest airport in Colombia by number of flights.
Today, it is considered the main regional airport of the country due to the large number of scheduled and charter flights of this type operated to and from the airport. It was formerly known as Medellin International Airport prior to the construction of José María Córdova International Airport, located in the municipality of Rionegro, Antioquia, 29 km east of the city of Medellin. Between the two airports of Medellín, there were more than 4.7 million passengers per year, which makes it the second busiest passenger city in Colombia after Bogotá.
Don Gonzalo Mejia saw an opportunity for the development of an airport in Medellin given that the topography of the city made land transport to and from the area difficult, and the nearest airport was in Puerto Berrio.

Through this veil of tears
I can see what was suppose to be
Now it's all so clear
Love from you was so real, so true, genuine
Stronger than time
Wipe your tears away
Kiss you every morning
Hear every word you had to say
Are all the things I should have done
While you were here
And now the foolish boy has grown
Into this man I'm sorry you've never known
I'm not afraid to love
'Cause every beat of my heart
Echoes all those memories from way back when
And the man I should have been
Faded dreams of you and me
And of our little family
Gone forever
My God in heaven
Before the gift of clarity
We pay the price of misery
Why please tell me why
Her mommy's gone away
But in her eyes I see you more each day
How can I repay
All your love unreturned
From so long, long ago
Now I know
I'll wipe her tears away
Kiss her every morning
Hear every word she has to say
Do all the things that you
Would do if you were here
Brighten her rainy day
Catch her when she's fallen
Say I love you each and every day
Do all the things that you
