After her mother dies in a car accident, 17 year-old Megan (Nicole Eggert) lives a reckless lifestyle. She begins a relationship with Rich (Corey Haim), who works at her father's (Jean LeClerc) ski resort. Wes (Corey Feldman), his womanizing half-brother, keeps trying to convince Rich that Megan is not what she seems. Megan is able to convince Rich that it was her father that killed her mother after many nights of sex. Rich becomes blinded by the potently sexual relationship and is in two minds about what to do.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Opening within one month from each other in 1994, Blown Away invited many comparisons to Speed. Both are pyrotechnical displays involving mad bombers and a multitude of flying building debris and body parts. The cop and the mad bomber in this one are Jimmy Dove (Jeff Bridges), a veteran of the Boston Bomb Squad planning to retire from the force, and Ryan Gaerity (Tommy Lee Jones), a revenge-crazed explosives expert who has recently escaped from a detention center in Northern Ireland. It seems that Gaerity is out to get Jimmy and has been nursing his grudge for the past twenty years. Back in his Irish past, Jimmy, then known as Liam, was a student of Gaerity, who constructed bombing devices for the IRA. But when Gaerity's bombing plans included the killing of innocent civilians, Liam opposed him and thwarted his efforts. As a result, Liam escaped to the United States to become Jimmy, and Gaerity was arrested and sent to prison. But now that Gaerity is out of jail, he is traveling to Boston to wreak havoc upon the city in revenge for what Jimmy has done to him. His plan is to create so many bombings in Boston that the bomb squad's strength will be depleted, allowing him to get to Jimmy and his family. The goal? Blowing up Jimmy's wife (Suzy Amis) and stepdaughter at a Boston Pops concert.

Blown Away is a 1994 action film starring Jeff Bridges and Tommy Lee Jones. It was directed by Stephen Hopkins.
Ryan Gaerity (Tommy Lee Jones), an Irish terrorist, escapes from his cell in a castle prison in Northern Ireland.
In faraway Boston, meanwhile, Lt. Jimmy Dove (Jeff Bridges) is a veteran disposal technician for the police bomb squad. He irritates his captain, partner and everyone else when he plays hero and disarms explosives.
Nobody, except for his uncle Max (played by Jeff's real life father Lloyd Bridges), knows of Jimmy's dark past. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Jimmy's actual name is Liam McGivney. He had been friends and partners with Gaerity, who, unbeknownst to Liam, was a freelance terrorist. After a botched attempt to stop Gaerity led to the bomber's imprisonment and the death of his girlfriend (Gaerity's sister), Liam fled to Boston and became Jimmy Dove.
Gaerity comes to Boston to seek vengeance against Jimmy, who is semi-retired but working as an instructor. Gaerity begins taunting his old protégé with threats and his homemade explosives and causing the deaths of Jimmy's colleagues Blanket, Cortez and Rita. With his new family now in danger, Jimmy reveals his secret to his wife Kate (Suzy Amis). He returns to action to hunt for Gaerity, while an officer named Anthony Franklin (Forest Whitaker) investigates Jimmy, suspecting a connection between the two.

After her mother dies in a car accident, 17 year-old Megan (Nicole Eggert) lives a reckless lifestyle. She begins a relationship with Rich (Corey Haim), who works at her father's (Jean LeClerc) ski resort. Wes (Corey Feldman), his womanizing half-brother, keeps trying to convince Rich that Megan is not what she seems. Megan is able to convince Rich that it was her father that killed her mother after many nights of sex. Rich becomes blinded by the potently sexual relationship and is in two minds about what to do.

Opening within one month from each other in 1994, Blown Away invited many comparisons to Speed. Both are pyrotechnical displays involving mad bombers and a multitude of flying building debris and body parts. The cop and the mad bomber in this one are Jimmy Dove (Jeff Bridges), a veteran of the Boston Bomb Squad planning to retire from the force, and Ryan Gaerity (Tommy Lee Jones), a revenge-crazed explosives expert who has recently escaped from a detention center in Northern Ireland. It seems that Gaerity is out to get Jimmy and has been nursing his grudge for the past twenty years. Back in his Irish past, Jimmy, then known as Liam, was a student of Gaerity, who constructed bombing devices for the IRA. But when Gaerity's bombing plans included the killing of innocent civilians, Liam opposed him and thwarted his efforts. As a result, Liam escaped to the United States to become Jimmy, and Gaerity was arrested and sent to prison. But now that Gaerity is out of jail, he is traveling to Boston to wreak havoc upon the city in revenge for what Jimmy has done to him. His plan is to create so many bombings in Boston that the bomb squad's strength will be depleted, allowing him to get to Jimmy and his family. The goal? Blowing up Jimmy's wife (Suzy Amis) and stepdaughter at a Boston Pops concert.

This is my personal opinion on the product pioneer sp-c22 andrew jones designed center channel. You can get more information on Amazon-US: http://bit.ly/1SwnvIZ I bought the floor standing and to replace VERY cheap monoprice surrounds for a theater and have been blown away by every piece in this set (use the bookshelves for the TV upstairs). They easily fill the room and make the even immersive than before. Granted, I got them on a huge sale (close to 50% off) but would still suggest at full Worth their weight in gold and incredibly nice for all types of media from music to and anything in between.
