Gbenga Akinnagbe is best known for his role as Chris Partlow on the HBO original series The Wire. Gbenga has also starred in multiple movies, including The Savages, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3, The Good Wife, and is the lead in the upcoming indie film Home. The critically acclaimed series "The Wire" featured some very memorable characters such as: Stringer Bell, Avon Barksdale, Omar Little, The Bunk and Jimmy McNulty. However, no character was more feared than Chris Partlow. The Chris Partlow character has to be one of the most cold-blooded characters if not thee most cold-blooded character in television history. Partlow was an enforcer, adviser, and friend of Stanfield's and was willing to do his part to help Stanfield achieve his goal of wearing "The Crown" no matter the cost. This video is a collection of his best scenes, not his best one-liners.

Gbenga Akinnagbe
Gbenga Akinnagbe (born December 12, 1978) is an American actor and writer, best known for his role as Chris Partlow on the HBO series The Wire.
Early life
Akinnagbe was born in Washington, D.C., the son of Nigerian parents. He was raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is the second oldest of six children, with one older sister and four younger brothers, and the first in his family to be born in the United States. He attended Colonel Zadok A. Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland. He attended Bucknell University on a wrestling scholarship, majoring in Political Science and English.

The Wire
The Wire is an American crime drama television series set and produced in and around Baltimore, Maryland. Created and primarily written by author and former police reporter David Simon, the series was broadcast by the cable network HBO in the United States. The Wire premiered on June 2, 2002, and ended on March 9, 2008, comprising 60 episodes over five seasons.
Each season of The Wire introduces a different institution in the city of Baltimore and its relationship to law enforcement, while retaining characters and advancing storylines from previous seasons. In chronological order these institutions are: the illegal drug trade, the seaport system, the city government and bureaucracy, the school system, and the print news media. The large cast consists mainly of character actors who are little known for their other roles, as well as numerous real-life Baltimore and Maryland figures in guest and recurring roles. Simon has said that despite its framing as a crime drama, the show is "really about the American city, and about how we live together. It's about how institutions have an effect on individuals. Whether one is a cop, a longshoreman, a drug dealer, a politician, a judge or a lawyer, all are ultimately compromised and must contend with whatever institution to which they are committed."

Chris Partlow
Christopher "Chris" Partlow is a fictional character on the HBO drama The Wire, played by actor Gbenga Akinnagbe. Partlow is Marlo Stanfield's best friend, bodyguard, and second-in-command in his drug dealing operation. Despite his quiet demeanor, Partlow commits more on- and off-screen murders than any other character. Although he is a ruthless killer, he is shown to genuinely care about the soldiers under his command, especially Michael Lee, whom he takes under his wing as a protégé. According to a David Simon audio commentary, Partlow was a victim of molestation, explaining his ferocious attack on Michael Lee's stepfather.
Character storyline
Season three
Partlow is a key player in the turf war with the Barksdale organization and is always looking out for Stanfield's safety. He often meets with Marlo and his adviser Vinson to discuss their strategy. Partlow's cautious observation revealed Avon Barksdale's car when he tries to set a trap for Stanfield. Partlow fires on the car in a drive by shooting, wounding Avon and killing one of his soldiers. When Marlo Stanfield murders Devonne for spying, Partlow accompanies him and calmly tells him that it needed to be done. When Stringer Bell is murdered, Partlow and Snoop are assumed to be responsible and they do nothing to dispel these rumors. The turf war comes to an end when Stringer's death and Avon's arrest lead to the demise of the Barksdale Organization and Stanfield assumes control of most of the drug trade in Western Baltimore.

The Deuce
The Deuce is the name of the double-decker bus line serving Las Vegas operated by RTC Transit. These buses went into service on October 27, 2005. Originally The Deuce meant four things: (1) the bus was double decked, (2) the price was $2 one way, (3) the route connected the two primary gaming areas: Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, (4) the first double deckers bought in 2005 primarily for the service started with "2". Currently the double decker buses also serve other local routes, and the price is no longer $2. However, the name The Deuce on the Strip is used by RTC to emphasize that the route refers to just the tourist route.
The buses seat 27 people on the lower deck, 53 on the upper deck, and are 40 feet long. As of 2014, the fare for the Las Vegas Strip is $6 for a two-hour pass, $8 for a 24-hour pass, or $20 for a 72-hour pass.
In March 2010 a new bus rapid transit line connecting the Strip to downtown Las Vegas and Town Square and the South Strip Transfer Terminal became operational. This new 11 mile service was called ACE Gold Line and is similar to the Metropolitan Area Express BRT Line which has been operating since June 30, 2004. Due to a lawsuit by Ace Cab, the line was rebranded as the Gold Line. On November 7, 2010, it was rebranded to be known as the Strip and Downtown Express (SDX).

The critically acclaimed series "The Wire" featured some very memorable characters such as: Stringer Bell, Avon Barksdale, Omar Little, The Bunk and Jimmy McNulty. However, no character was more feared than Chris Partlow. The Chris Partlow character has to be one of the most cold-blooded characters if not thee most cold-blooded character in television history. Partlow was an enforcer, adviser, and friend of Stanfield's and was willing to do his part to help Stanfield achieve his goal of wearing "The Crown" no matter the cost.
