Robert Griffiths opens by saying its about time that we give up dreaming the American Dream as it's a myth. Multimillionaires who have made their fortune in a system that is based on exploitation, discrimination and inequality have promoted the American dream.
He says that the wealthiest 1% of the population own 1/3 of the countries wealth and more than 50% of stocks and shares. This makes it one of the most unequal societies on earth.

Most recently, Griffiths served as senior course adviser at the Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, Virginia. In Washington, he has served in the Bureau of Economic Affairs and as deputy director for Mainland Southeast Asia in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Outside the Department of State, he worked in the Asia Policy Office of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served a year in the U.S. Senate in the office of Harry Reid of Nevada, his home state senator, as part of the State Department’s Pearson Program. Griffiths speaks Thai and Chinese and is married with three grown children.

Robert Griffiths (politician)
Robert David Griffiths (born 1952) is the general secretary of the Communist Party of Britain. He was elected by the CPB's Executive Committee in January 1998, in place of Mike Hicks.
Griffiths was born in Cardiff where he attended Bryn Hafod primary school and Cardiff High School. Later he went to the University of Bath to study economics before taking a position as a parliamentary research officer for Plaid Cymru in 1974. He stayed in the post until 1979; it was a difficult year for the party, which had faced defeat in the Welsh devolution referendum and the loss of Gwynfor Evans' seat in the general election. With a reduced presence in Westminster the party had no need of a large parliamentary staff and Griffiths was made redundant.
In July 1979 he collaborated with Gareth Miles to publish Socialism for the Welsh People, a pamphlet which was critical of Plaid Cymru for its "opportunism" and alleged subservience to the British state. The pamphlet called for the creation of a Welsh Socialist Republican Movement, which was founded by Griffiths, Miles and others in January 1980. Griffiths served as the organisation's secretary and wrote for its magazine 'the Arrow' (Welsh: Y Saeth).

Robert Griffiths (physicist)
Robert B. Griffiths (February 25, 1937) is an American physicist at Carnegie Mellon University. He is the originator of the consistent histories approach to quantum mechanics, which has since been developed by himself, Roland Omnès, Murray Gell-Mann, and James Hartle.
Early life and education
Robert B. Griffiths was born in Etah, Uttar Pradesh in 1937 to the son of Presbyterian missionaries. Griffiths attended Woodstock School, India from fourth standard to tenth, along with his brothers and sisters. Even during his Woodstock days, Griffiths' mathematical and scientific aptitude was apparent. The 1952 year book remarks that "Robert is famous for his long arguments (and unsurpassed knowledge) in chemistry class, his ability to 'recite' the log tables indelibly written in his brain, and his skill when it comes to fixing anything electrical." This knack for electrical systems kept Griffiths at Woodstock through part of 1953, working with the school's various wiring systems.

Robert D. Griffiths is a career member of the U.S. Foreign Service with overseas postings in Bogota, Colombia; Thailand; Kaohsiung and Taipei with the American Institute in Taiwan; and Shanghai and Beijing on the Chinese mainland. Most recently, Griffiths served as senior course adviser at the Foreign Service Institute in Arlington, Virginia. In Washington, he has served in the Bureau of Economic Affairs and as deputy director for Mainland Southeast Asia in the Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs. Outside the Department of State, he worked in the Asia Policy Office of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served a year in the U.S. Senate in the office of Harry Reid of Nevada, his home state senator, as part of the State Department’s Pearson Program. Griffiths speaks Thai and Chinese and is married with three grown children.
