Based on the 1981 movie that was inspired by the novel "Makai Tensei" (Samurai Reincarnation) by Yamada Fuutarou, players adopt the persona of 16-year old Amakusa Shirou Tokisada who led a farmer's rebellion (The Shimabara Uprising) against the Matsukura ruling family in 1638. Squeezed by overbearing taxes as mandated by Matsukura Shigemasa, the ruler of the Shimabara territory - who used the levies to build an extravagant castle, farmers were persecuted and tortured if they refused to pay. The corruption and heavy duties led to the rebel uprising which gathered nearly 40000 men in a bid to topple the Matsukura influence. Despite some military successes, the rebellion was eventually put down in a last stand at Hara Castle on February 28, 1638 by a force of 124000 men sent from the ruling Edo Bakufu (Bakufu means tent government - since the military forces lived in tents). Shirou and his rebel army were slaughtered with only a lone traitor spared. In the novel, Shirou rises from the dead and recruits and resurrects powerful warriors such as Miyamoto Musashi with black magic to aid him in another bid to take vengeance on the shogunate. The Makai Tensei game follows the plot of the movie closely and features recreations of key scenes in the movie, distinct sword fighting styles, 100 weapons to use and legendary swordsmen to recruit and/or battle. This tells the story of the Shimabara Rebellion in 1637-38. It was the largest of its kind during the Edo period with the exception to the Boshin War at the end of the Edo period. It was a conflict born out of oppression of the worst kinds. Harsh taxation, religious persecution, among other things. The rebellion was widely successful in the region of Shimabara, and the Amakusa Islands which were very near by. The Amakusa islands had also faced very similar circumstances. It is suspected as much as 50% or more of the entire population of the Shimabara (20000+ of a total of 40000+) joined the rebellion. What is known is that the fife of Shimabara so was depopulated after the rebellion that people had to be imported from all over Japan. According to Wiki, in Shimabara people still speak in different dialects to this day. At the Siege of Hara the defenders (some 30000) faced off for months against a force of Tokugawa in excess of 125000 men.. In the end Hara castle fell, and Christianity was banned by the Shogun for it was thought it was the work of the Jesuits. So ends the story of the Shimabara Rebellion. Stage 4: Piplup wishes that someone or something will be able to help them, and lo and behold, there's a familiar face that ACTUALLY recognizes them: TaruTaru! After a *ahem* bone-breaking hug, TaruTaru mentions that he, along with Raffine and Piplup, are actually in a parellel world! Yeah, ain't that a shocker. For the sake of enjoying the moment, however, Raffine challenges TaruTaru to Puyo. Stage 5: If there's anything a Trainer (or anyone with a Pokemon) hates, it's a Zubat ambush... and Raffine's no exception. What does she do? She has Piplup do the work, of course! Stage 6: Overhearing from the Zubat that there is a way back to their world, Raffine and Piplup head towards a rather creepy castle. On the way there, however, they get ambushed by some... winged dragon guarding the castle! It easily takes out Piplup, so Raffine has to do all the work. Stage 7: The duo are finally in but are stopped by a Tropius who desperately warns them not to go any further to spare them from "her" wrath. Piplup's confused, and Raffine demands to know who "her" is. However, Tropius doesn't really like to talk this out any longer, and you know what happens there! Hamamatsu Castle (浜松城) is located in Hamamatsu City. Hamamatsu castle was originally built in 1532 by Imagawa Sadatsuke of the Imagawa clan. Tokugawa Ieyasu obtained the castle after defeating the Imagawa in a battle in 1568 and moved here permanently in 1570. Many of his famous battles were fought using this castle as his base of operations. The most famous battle Ieyasu fought from Hamamatsu castle is recognised as one of the most fierce in Japanese history, and one that nearly settled the fate of the whole country by wiping Tokugawa Ieyasu out altogether - the battle of Mikata ga hara. Tokugawa Ieyasu had extended the influence of his ally Oda Nobunaga by making Hamamatsu his headquarters. Situated halfway between Kyoto and Odawara (Edo was not yet established) on the Tokaido road Hamamatsu was in a very strategic position to control the major artery of pre-modern Japan. Takeda Shingen realised that his biggest threat was Oda Nobunaga. Nobunaga had destroyed the base of the Buddhist warrior monks of mount Hiei in 1571, and Takeda Shingen being a Buddhist monk took this to be an affront on Buddhism as well as a threat to his desire to become warlord of Kyoto. Tokugawa Ieyasu was not Shingen's biggest threat, but an immediate challenge to his plans to destroy Oda Nobunaga. Shingen had made a peace treaty with Nobunaga, and secretly planned to first destroy Ieyasu and then move against Nobunaga. Nobunaga advised Ieyasu to withdraw to Okezaki castle while the peace ...

Here we have Conor O'Neil who has a plus 2 handicap and whom has had an international cap for Scotland. Conor is an athletic individual who has been coached at Mearns Castle Golf Academy since he was 11. Conors shot pattern when he is out of sorts is generally a very promenant right to left shape bordering on a hook. The cause of this is threefold 1. His body turn gets too flat. 2. The clubface is too open and consequently has to close faster than is desirable through the hitting area. 3. His hips outrace his upper half and club on the downswing causing the club to get underneath the plane causing a slightly in-to-out release. Hopefully This video clip is insightful.

As the 2011 Goodwill Ambassador to the land of his heritage, Deputy Chief Hara was able to speak at a Japanese university which paid him as a guest speaker. The foundation had him donate 50% of what Sagami Women's University paid him to natural disaster relief in Japan. Co-Chairman of the foundation, Professor Kenzo Soneda, will help choose the 2012 Goodwill Ambassador. Coming soon are photos of Osaka Castle and other places in Japan that Deputy Chief Hara was able to visit through the donation of the foundation.
