California punk band The Story So Far has been banned from playing Toronto's Mod Club after a video was posted online showing frontman Parker Cannon jump-kicking a young woman off the stage when she was facing the audience to take a selfie during the band's show Sunday night.

The video has already received more than 130,000 views. In it, one sees Cannon jump before hitting the woman's back with both feet. She jolts and falls face down into the crowd.  The audience cheers. The clip continues, showing many males (and one female) getting up on stage and diving into the crowd without incident.

"On behalf of the venue we are appalled by the actions of the singer and do not condone these actions by anyone," Mod Club general manager Jorge Dias said in a statement. "There was no report of injuries and the venue will not allow the band to play the venue again for their actions. I have never imagined and never seen anything like that at the venue in 14 years in operation. That was a very cowardly act."

Billboard has reached out to the band via Facebook and by email to management at Good Fight and to Sony Music Canada, distributor for the band's self-titled album on Pure Noise Records.

Last June, Cannon kicked a young man who was onstage at Scout Bar in Houston, Texas.

Toronto Police told local news station City TV it had received no criminal complaint.
