Navi Mumbai International Airport is a proposed greenfield international airport, to be built in the Kopra-Panvel area of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) is the nodal agency for the project which will be built through public–private partnership (PPP) on a 'design, build, finance, operate and transfer' (DBFOT) basis.
The airport project, aimed at easing air traffic congestion at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, has been delayed due to property disputes. The project, spread over 1,160 hectares, still has 247 hectares left to be acquired that is being negotiated between the government and the project affected people (PAP) from five villages. They are yet to accept the government's compensation. CIDCO, however, floated a global request for qualification (RFQ) for the project on 5 February 2014. The private sector partner will hold 74% equity in the airport while the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and CIDCO each holding 13%.

Pokhara Airport (IATA: PKR, ICAO: VNPK), is a regional airport serving Pokhara in Nepal. The airport was established on 4 July 1958 and is operated by the government (Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal). It offers regular connections to Kathmandu and Jomsom; and seasonal connections to Manang. Following a new agreement on air travel between India and Nepal, Pokhara is to be the site of Nepal's second international airport. Construction started in the southeast of Pokhara in 2009 but is only progressing slowly.[5] In 2011 Buddha Air, a Nepali private airline, began international flights from Pokhara to Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow, India, and has announced plans to fly to New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport in the future.
The apron of the airport is tiny and can only handle 8 small propeller planes at a time. Pokhara Airport is a diversion airport for the main airport KTM in times of problems such as fog. Due to a short runway and crowded apron, flights must often be re-diverted to third airports with even shorter runways.
The airport is capable of handling aircraft from the Nepalese Army Air Service.

Washington Dulles International Airport(IATA: IAD, ICAO: KIAD, FAA LID: IAD) is an international airport in Loudoun and Fairfax counties in Virginia, United States, 26 miles (42 km) west of downtown Washington, D.C. The airport serves the Baltimore–Washington Metropolitan Area, centered on the District of Columbia. The airport is named after John Foster Dulles, the 52nd Secretary of State who served under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Dulles main terminal is a well-known landmark designed by Eero Saarinen. Operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Dulles Airport occupies 11,830 acres (47.9 km2) straddling the Loudoun-Fairfax line. Dulles is the one of the three major airport in the larger Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area with over 21 million passengers a year. With nearly all of the international passenger traffic in the Baltimore-Washington region, Dulles is the busiest international airport in the Mid-Atlantic outside the New York metropolitan area. On a typical day, more than 60,000 passengers pass through Washington Dulles to and from more than 125 destinations around the world. Dulles is a hub for United Airlines.

The apron of the airport is tiny and can only handle 8 small propeller planes at a time. Pokhara Airport is a diversion airport for the main airport KTM in times of problems such as fog. Due to a short runway and crowded apron, flights must often be re-diverted to third airports with even shorter runways.
The airport is capable of handling aircraft from the Nepalese Army Air Service.

Following the Manassas Airshow, I took a trip to Dulles to do a bit of spotting, hoping to catch whatever I can and hoping that the majority of arriving and/or departing traffic would be utilizing the center runway at Dulles. Operations were arriving and departing off of 19L and 19C, eventually moving to Runway 19L and 12, with few arrivals and departures off of 19C. The majority of operations you see here are utilizing Runway 19C and you will see a lot of variety of aircraft types departing off of 19C. Keep on watching the video, as in my opinion, the spotting catches of the year are seen departing from 19C. The sound of the aircraft isn't what I expected due to the wind direction.
And, just so you know, Washington Dulles International Airport sees a LOT of interesting traffic outside of the usual United Airlines and other domestic and international carriers. You may see a lot of VIP movements as this is the airfield of choice for these movements to arrive and depart to/from, especially when it comes to foreign dignitaries. I got real lucky that evening and you will see what I'm talking about!
