PT5M31S 620 349Collingwood president Eddie McGuire says he would not hesitate to fire the club's under-pressure coach if it was the right thing to do.
Speaking on AFL 360 where he was filling in a host, McGuire said the 'Pies had not lived up to the promise they had shown in the NAB Challenge.
Collingwood opened their season with a dismal loss to Sydney, beat Richmond by a point then unexpectedly went down to lowly St Kilda in round three.

McGuire said Buckley, with the rest of the coaches and staff at the Magpies, would be able to achieve on-field success with the team.
But when asked directly, he said he would not hesitate to fire the senior coach if it was the right thing for the club, despite his long-time friendship with Buckley.
McGuire said he still believed it had been the right choice to extend Buckley's contract until the end of 2017, because good clubs were methodical and did not make rash decisions.
"If there's one person on the face of the earth who I don't have to worry about doing the right thing by the Collingwood football club, it's Nathan Buckley," he said.
The Magpies may have a chance to redeem themselves when they play Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
