This years 1/10th scale trail truck challenge will be different from the ones I have filmed before, whereas this is Open Class for Multi-Axles, Multi-Motors, Brushed or Brushless and up to 4s lipo battery power! All vehicles must be on a Ladder-style type of chassis. Jem (my wife), and I have invited 15 of of friends to come and take part in this unique and exciting Radio Control Hobby event. This film is the first in a series of 5 films that will virtually transport you to our RC Ranch and get you right in the action! Our first event is the "JUDGE". It is a custom built weight pulling sled built for 1/8th scale machines - but we use it for these amazing and strong trucks. Instead of adding weight, we pull the sled empty, and move on with the highest 4 trucks, adding weight as we go to see who can pull the most. For the filming of this video, we used 6 different cameras and captured more then 100GB of HD footage. Thank you to my camera crew and to the volunteers who helped make this event possible. It really is fantastic to see so many people having an amazing time with the hobby of radio control!
