Martin Walker may refer to:
Martin Walker is a former Director of Hull City football club.
He joined Hull City in June 2007 as part of a consortium with Paul Duffen and Russell Bartlett. They had made unsuccessful attempts to take over West Ham United and Cardiff City.
Bartlett and Walker jointly own the Fortis property company.
In a 2009 interview, Paul Duffen stated that Walker does not hold any shares in Hull City.
On 28 May 2010, he resigned from his position on the Hull City board.
Martin Walker (July 27, 1901–September 18, 1955) was a British film actor. Walker appeared in films for over thirty years from 1922 onwards, largely in supporting roles but occasionally as a lead such as in Help Yourself (1932). He also wrote and directed a short film Hide and Seek in 1922. Walker's final film appearance was The Belles of St. Trinian's in 1954.
This page lists characters from the television series Firefly.
Malcolm Reynolds, played by Nathan Fillion, is owner and captain of the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity, and was a volunteer in the war between the Alliance and the Independents (aka "Browncoats"). He got the name for his spaceship from a famous battle he fought and commanded in, the Battle of Serenity Valley. When asked why he named his ship after a lost battle, Zoe comments "Once you're in Serenity, you never leave. You just learn how to live there." He is fiercely loyal to those he calls his crew.
Malcolm's main mission is to keep his crew alive and to keep his ship flying. As Firefly writer Tim Minear stated in an interview: "It's just about getting by. That's always been the mission statement of what the show is — getting by." In "Serenity", Mal says of himself: "[If the] Wind blows northerly, I go North."
Screens from Serenity suggest that Mal was born on September 20, 2468 — which would make him 49 at the time of the series Firefly — though, as the average human lifespan is 120, this would make him the equivalent of a man in his early 30s today. Mal was raised by his mother and "about 40 hands" on a ranch on the planet Shadow. Though Mal usually seems more practical than intellectual, he occasionally surprises his friends by displaying familiarity with disparate literature varying from the works of Xiang Yu to poems by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, though he has no idea "who" Mona Lisa is.
Martin Walker (born 1947) is the Senior Director of the Global Business Policy Council (GBPC) at the management consulting firm A.T. Kearney and author of the popular 'Bruno' detective series set in the Périgord region of France. He has been a part of the GBPC since 1997 and was appointed as the Senior Director on 25 January 2007.
He was educated at Harrow County School for Boys and Balliol College, Oxford. Walker lives in Europe with his wife with whom he has two daughters.
He was on the staff of The Guardian newspaper from around 1971 working in a variety of positions including bureau chief in Moscow and the United States, European editor and assistant editor. One of the unsuccessful candidates for the editorship of The Guardian in 1995, when Alan Rusbridger was appointed in succession to Peter Preston, Walker resigned in 1999 after 28 years with the newspaper.
Walker joined UPI in 2000. While at UPI he was also an international correspondent. He is now Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of United Press International.

Martin Walker may refer to:
You were never found to be backward
Or wanting in any way
You were hidden so cleverly in love
What scheme did you obey!
And I know why you go so slow
You had such strange disappointments
Too bare against the paint
You knew the handle was broken
And your strong arm was faint
And I know why you go so slow
Your tired empire's fallen
Victim to your unease
You could make yourself so useful
If you'd get on your knees
