Chimay
Chimay (French pronunciation: [ʃi.mɛ], Walloon: Chimai) is a Walloon municipality located in the Belgian province of Hainaut. On January 1, 2006, Chimay had a total population of 9,774. The total area is 197.10 km² which gives a population density of 50 inhabitants per km². The source of the Oise River is located in the municipality.
Situated in the administrative district of Thuin, the municipality was created with a merger of 14 old communes on January 1, 1977. The Trappist monastery of Scourmont Abbey is located in the town and is famous for the Chimay Brewery.
Etymology
The origin of the name would come from the Celtic word coimos meaning "pretty, pleasant".

1633 Chimay
1633 Chimay, provisional designation 1929 EC, is a dark asteroid from the outer region of the asteroid belt, about 36 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered by Belgian astronomer Sylvain Arend at the Royal Observatory of Belgium in Uccle, on 3 March 1929. Five nights later, the body was independently discovered by Max Wolf at the Heidelberg Observatory in southern Germany.
The asteroid is a member of the Themis family, a dynamical family of outer-belt asteroids with nearly coplanar ecliptical orbits. It orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.8–3.6 AU once every 5 years and 9 months (2,085 days). Its orbit shows an eccentricity of 0.12 and is tilted by 3 degrees to the plane of the ecliptic. Several photometric light-curve analysis rendered a well-defined, concurring rotation period of 6.6 hours.
According to the surveys carried out by the Infrared Astronomical Satellite, IRAS, the Japanese Akari satellite, and the NEOWISE mission of the U.S. Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, the asteroid's surface has a low albedo between 0.079 and 0.089. Although the Collaborative Asteroid Lightcurve Link (CALL) derives an albedo in accordance of the space-based surveys, CALL classifies the body as a S-type rather than a carbonaceous C-type asteroid.
