Trois ans après la révolution de jasmin et la chute du régime Ben Ali, une équipe de télévision s'est rendue en Tunisie pour cette Enquête exclusive (dimanche 12 octobre, 23h sur M6) très percutante forte de séquences exclusives.
Sidi Bou Saïd, quartier résidentiel de Tunis. Pour la première fois, un guide a ouvert à des journalistes d'une télévision occidentale les portes du palais des 1001 nuits de l'ancien dictateur Ben Ali et de son épouse Leila Trabelsi. Sur un hectare de terrain, une villa de 11 000m2 avec 332 pièces et plus de 50 000 objets précieux, le tout est évalué à plus de 500 millions d'euros. Et dans un coffre-fort, les autorités ont découvert des centaines de liasses de billets de banque (plus de 20 millions d'euros d'argent liquide). Cette caverne d'Ali Baba était l'une des 500 résidences de l'ancien dictateur qui a régné pendant vingt-trois ans. Ne manquez pas non plus cette séquence incroyable des 200 voitures saisies qui appartenaient aux membres du clan. Pour les entretenir, un pilote professionnel a été engagé pour les faire rouler.
Depuis la révolution, la famille s'est réfugiée aux quatre coins du monde, Ben Ali, sa femme, et son fils en Arabie Saoudite, d'autres aux Seychelles, à Abu Dhabi et au Canada. C'est là que les journalistes ont tenté de retrouver, avec succès, Belhassen Trabelsi, le frère de Leila, l'homme le plus recherché de Tunisie. Il a refusé de répondre aux questions mais son avocat leur a signifé qu'il attentait son statut de réfugié politique.
En Tunisie, des petits groupes de magistrats sont chargés de coordonner la traque des anciens dignitaires qui ont détourné des milliards. Ils ont peu de moyens de pression mais ont un cœur énorme. Actuellement, sur les 608 enquêtes, seules 60 ont été jugées. Parmi les témoignages, celui de l'ancien chef d'entreprise qui a tout perdu est bouleversant.
A l'issue de cette enquête captivante et audacieuse, sera diffusé un entretien de Bernard de la Villardière avec l'actuel président tunisien Moncef Marzouki, et ce, à quelques semaines des élections présidentielles.

Le secrétaire général du Hezbollah a chaleureusement salué ces prises de position de la "Nation arabe et majoritairement sunnite". Puis il évoqué la "joie gâchée" des sionistes qui cherchaient ces derniers temps à se faire passer pour le protecteur des sunnites.

Au menu, l'attente des résultats au Bénin, l'attaque sans précédent en Tunisie et le témoignage de "Sam l'Africain", qui embarrasse le procureur à La Haye, dans le cadre du procès Gbagbo.
La Tunisie a été victime d'attaques simultanées "sans précédent" à Ben Guerdane, tout près de la Libye, attribuées à l'organisation État islamique, qui cherchait, selon les autorités, à établir un émirat dans la zone. L'assaut a fait au moins 50 morts dont 36 jihadistes et 11 membres des forces de l'ordre.

TUNISIE : CONSTRUCTION D'UN MUR LE LONG DE SA FRONTIÈRE AVEC LA LIBYE
La Tunisie prend des mesures radicales dans sa lutte contre le terrorisme, avec la construction d’un mur qui la sépare de la Libye. Un rempart d’une longueur de 459 kilomètres, et d’une hauteur de deux mètres, mais seuls 280 kilomètres seront barricadés, le reste étant une zone militaire protégée, un bon moyen d’empêcher les terroristes de franchir les frontières en voiture, et de les dissuader de se rendre en Tunisie. Cette mesure intervient après l’attentat de Sousse qui a causé la mort de plusieurs personnes, et suite aux différentes critiques auxquelles la Tunisie a dû faire face concernant son manque de sécurité.

Tunisie : attaques djihadistes contre les forces de l'ordre près de la frontière libyenne
La Tunisie frappée ce lundi par plusieurs attaques djihadistes simultanées. Bilan : 10 membres des forces de l'ordre tués, ainsi que 7 civils. Sur un hectare de terrain, une villa de 11 000m2 avec 332 pièces et plus de 50 000 objets précieux, le tout est évalué à plus de 500 millions d'euros. Et dans un coffre-fort, les autorités ont découvert des centaines de liasses de billets de banque (plus de 20 millions d'euros d'argent liquide). Cette caverne d'Ali Baba était l'une des 500 résidences de l'ancien dictateur qui a régné pendant vingt-trois ans. Ne manquez pas non plus cette séquence incroyable des 200 voitures saisies qui appartenaient aux membres du clan. Pour les entretenir, un pilote professionnel a été engagé pour les faire rouler.
Depuis la révolution, la famille s'est réfugiée aux quatre coins du monde, Ben Ali, sa femme, et son fils en Arabie Saoudite, d'autres aux Seychelles, à Abu Dhabi et au Canada. C'est là que les journalistes ont tenté de retrouver, avec succès, Belhassen Trabelsi, le frère de Leila, l'homme le plus recherché de Tunisie. Il a refusé de répondre aux questions mais son avocat leur a signifé qu'il attentait son statut de réfugié politique.
En Tunisie, des petits groupes de magistrats sont chargés de coordonner la traque des anciens dignitaires qui ont détourné des milliards. Ils ont peu de moyens de pression mais ont un cœur énorme. Actuellement, sur les 608 enquêtes, seules 60 ont été jugées. Parmi les témoignages, celui de l'ancien chef d'entreprise qui a tout perdu est bouleversant.
A l'issue de cette enquête captivante et audacieuse, sera diffusé un entretien de Bernard de la Villardière avec l'actuel président tunisien Moncef Marzouki, et ce, à quelques semaines des élections présidentielles.
