Andrew Neiman jest 19-letnim perkusistą jazzowym marzącym o wielkości, niepewnym jednak tego czy jego marzenie kiedykolwiek się spełni. Naznaczony niepowodzeniem pisarskiej kariery ojca, Andrew za wszelką cenę pragnie dostać się do czołówki elitarnego konserwatorium. Pewnego wieczoru, Terence Fletcher, dyrygent znany zarówno ze swojego talentu pedagogicznego, jak i drastycznych metod nauczania, zauważa ćwiczącego na perkusji Andrew. Chociaż tego wieczoru Fletcher zamienia z chłopcem zaledwie kilka słów, zapala w nim iskrę pasji. Ku zaskoczeniu Andrew, następnego dnia Fletcher prosi go o dołączenie do swojego zespołu. Ta jedna decyzja zmienia na zawsze życie młodego człowieka.
Początkowo, Andrew jest tylko „zmiennikiem”, a jego zadanie ogranicza się do przewracania stron z nutami „głównemu” perkusiście. Podczas konkursu, w którym ma zagrać zespół, okazuje się, że wskutek przypadku czy też sabotażu głównemu perkusiście giną nuty. Andrew, który nauczył się ich na pamięć ma szansę zagrać. Chociaż zraża to do niego kolegów z zespołu, wygrywają konkurs, a Andrew zostaje nowym pupilkiem Fletchera.
Dzięki akceptacji nauczyciela, Andrew w końcu zbiera się na odwagę i zaprasza na randkę Nicole, kasjerkę z lokalnego kina, w której się do tej pory skrycie kochał. Na randce, Andrew jest jednak tak bardzo pochłonięty muzyką, że stanowi to zagrożenie dla jego najbardziej szczerych romantycznych uniesień.
Niemal maniakalne wysiłki Andrew zmierzające do osiągnięcia perfekcji są dodatkowo napędzane balansującą na krawędzi taktyką psychologiczną Fletchera. Rodzina Andrew ledwie poznaje ogarniętego obsesją, siedzącego przy stole z kamienną twarzą młodego człowieka. Im bardziej zbliża się do perfekcji tym węższe staje się grono jego przyjaciół, a ostatecznie pozostaje mu tylko Fletcher. I nawet ta relacja zostaje zagrożona przez olbrzymie ambicje Andrew.
Filmowa podróż, którą można alternatywnie postrzegać jako pogrążanie się w szaleństwie lub wznoszenie ku wielkości osiągnie swoje crescendo na scenie Carnegie Hall, która nigdy nie wybacza.

Hi guys,
I am a 23-year-old video artist living in South Korea.
I made this video with the images I took when I was traveling 23 countries last year wishing to capture the fascinating moments I had in a 4 minutes clip.
Inspired by the film, Whiplash, I wanted to visualize what it looks like to play drum out of the beautiful images of the world.
It took me one year to shoot, 3 weeks to edit and 3TB of workspace to work on it.
I only used a tripod for shooting this.

작년 23개국을 돌아다니면서 찍은 영상을 4분안에 담아봤습니다
영상으로 드럼 치는게 어떤 것인지 표현해보고 싶었는데 처음 시도하는 기법이라 이래저래 많이 고생했네요
여행기간은 1년 작업량은 3TB 편집은 총 3주간에 걸쳐 완성했습니다
별도의 촬영 장비 없이 삼각대로만 촬영했습니다
PS:프로렉스 코덱으로 뽑은 8G 영상도 유튜브는 제한 없이 다 올라가네요;;;
여태 유튜브 플랫폼을 과소평가하고 유튜브에 영상 공유하는걸 시덥지 않게 생각했는데
앞으로 많이 애용해야겠네요
다음 영국,독일,스페인,한국 버전도 기대해주세요~

I hit a hole on the track and it hit my helmet up (even though it was tight) and instantly got in my line of sight, blinding my vision the entire time. Not that bad of a crash, but by far my most terrifying as I was in the air, unknown where I was or how long until impact or even what was happening. Fortunately, I only severed major whiplash on my lower back, 2 broken ribs, a sprained wrist and embarrassment.
If I wasn't blinded by the helmet, it would not have been that bad of a crash at all, and the gopro helps show it lmao.

Mela
Mela (Sanskrit: मेला) is a Sanskrit word meaning 'gathering' or 'to meet' or a 'fair'. It is used in the Indian subcontinent for all sizes of gatherings and can be religious, commercial, cultural or sport-related. In rural traditions melas or village fairs were (and in some cases still are) of great importance. This led to their export around the world by south Asian diaspora communities wishing to bring something of that tradition to their new countries.
In recent times "Mela" also popularly refers to shows and exhibitions. It can be theme-based, promoting a particular culture, art or skill. Generally in "melas" people can find eateries, entertainment activities, shops and games.
The Kumbh Mela, held every twelve years, at Allahabad, Haridwar, Nashik and Ujjain is one of the largest fairs in India, where over 60 million people gathered in January 2001, making it the largest gathering anywhere in the world.

Screen Junkies
Screen Junkies is an online movie magazine and YouTube channel, owned and operated by Defy Media, that focuses on movies and television. It produces three main shows: The Screen Junkies Show, hosted by Hal Rudnick, consists mostly of interviews and film discussions; Honest Trailers is a series of trailers, narrated previously by Ptolemy Slocum and Gannon Nickell, and currently by Jon Bailey, that satirizes and parodies various films and television programs; and Movie Fights is a competition series, hosted by Andy Signore, where guests debate various issues related to film.

Honest Trailers is a series of parody trailers of films, and occasionally TV shows, that are made to satirize the film. The videos are narrated by Jon Bailey.
Created by Andy Signore and Brett Weiner and shepherded by Break Media's Head of Programming Mitch Rotter, Honest Trailers debuted in February 2012 and by June 2014 had become the source of over 300 million views on the Screen Junkies YouTube channel. The series started when the creators saw that Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace was being re-released in 3D and decided to make a parody trailer for it, continuing the series as a result of the positive reception the videos received.

Hi guys, I am a 23-year-old video artist living in South Korea. I made this video with the images I took when I was traveling 23 countries last year wishing to capture the fascinating moments I had in a 4 minutes clip. Inspired by the film, Whiplash, I wanted to visualize what it looks like to play drum out of the beautiful images of the world. It took me one year to shoot, 3 weeks to edit and 3TB of workspace to work on it. I only used a tripod for shooting this. Hope you enjoy! 저는 한국에서 영상아티스트로 활동하고 있는 24살 청년입니다 작년 23개국을 돌아다니면서 찍은 영상을 4분안에 담아봤습니다 영상으로 드럼 치는게 어떤 것인지 표현해보고 싶었는데 처음 시도하는 기법이라 이래저래 많이 고생했네요 여행기간은 1년 작업량은 3TB 편집은 총 3주간에 걸쳐 완성했습니다 별도의 촬영 장비 없이 삼각대로만 촬영했습니다 PS:프로렉스 코덱으로 뽑은 8G 영상도 유튜브는 제한 없이 다 올라가네요;;; 여태 유튜브 플랫폼을 과소평가하고 유튜브에 영상 공유하는걸 시덥지 않게 생각했는데 앞으로 많이 애용해야겠네요 다음 영국,독일,스...

Mx Crashing While Blinded by Helmet
I hit a hole on the track and it hit my helmet up (even though it was tight) and instantly got in my line of sight, blinding my vision the entire time. Not that bad of a crash, but by far my most terrifying as I was in the air, unknown where I was or how long until impact or even what was happening. Fortunately, I only severed major whiplash on my lower back, 2 broken ribs, a sprained wrist and embarrassment. If I wasn't blinded by the helmet, it would not have been that bad of a crash at all, and the gopro helps show it lmao.

Niemal maniakalne wysiłki Andrew zmierzające do osiągnięcia perfekcji są dodatkowo napędzane balansującą na krawędzi taktyką psychologiczną Fletchera. Rodzina Andrew ledwie poznaje ogarniętego obsesją, siedzącego przy stole z kamienną twarzą młodego człowieka. Im bardziej zbliża się do perfekcji tym węższe staje się grono jego przyjaciół, a ostatecznie pozostaje mu tylko Fletcher. I nawet ta relacja zostaje zagrożona przez olbrzymie ambicje Andrew.
Filmowa podróż, którą można alternatywnie postrzegać jako pogrążanie się w szaleństwie lub wznoszenie ku wielkości osiągnie swoje crescendo na scenie Carnegie Hall, która nigdy nie wybacza.
