For some reason I feel guilty that I like women. I've tried a few times to be in a relationship with a male, but it just doesn't feel the same as when I'm with a female. I feel like it may be because I don't have a good relationship with my father. I was physically and verbally abused by him and now he's totally absent. I'm thinking maybe that's why I have issues with men. I can handle being friends with them, but anything more just feels like an act, I'm not totally there, I don't know how to carry myself. I'm not trying to give a sob story or anything I'm just seriously concerned about it. If I find away to heal the trauma do you think I'll be straight and normal then? What are your views on sexual orientation? Or is this petty and I should focus more on school? I was wondering if you could make a video on this. The primary focus should be on establishing a ppositive relationship. For a woman who has confusion about their sexuality one of the things that they can ask is “How do I feel when I am interacting with women vs. how do I feel when I am interacting with men?” Answering this question would provide insight as to the woman’s sexual orientation. Another question might be “How do I feel when I am having sexual interaction with women vs. when I am having sexual interaction with men?” The deeper question is “What is the quality of the relationship that I have with this man or women?” Most of the negative issues that men develop in life are sourced from negative experiences with females during childhood. In the absence of healing people tend to see their life through the lens of their trauma. A woman who was abused by her father may see males through the lens of that trauma and may not have a level of sexual attraction towards men. The questioning of one's gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, or all three[1][2] is a process of exploration by people who may be unsure, still exploring, and concerned about applying a social label to themselves for various reasons.[3][4] The letter "Q" is sometimes added to the end of the acronym LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender); the "Q" can refer to either queer or questioning.[5] It is even expanded further to include asexuals. Many LGBT student groups and literature include questioning in their literature; in the case of gay–straight alliance groups they do so in part so students are not compelled to label themselves or choose a sexual identity.
