Missing You by WDK (Tagalog version)
The song "
Missing You" was originally written in
Visayan dialect by an underground rap group known only as "
WDK". It was first released through a live performance during
Dipolog City's
URBAN FUSION (
6th Edition), an event co-organized by KYRIE LUCIAN UNDERGROUND PRODUCTIONS with
XTREME 24/7 that showcased more than
300 hip hop artists (
Dancers & Rappers alike).
The idea of translating it to
Tagalog came up during the group's audition for the event. It was suggested by Datskie, Dipolog City's
Centennial Singer of the year and also a member of XTREME 24/7.
WDK worked with
Rebel Dogg
Records, NoPetsAllowed, & MackMuzick to translate & record it on a Tagalog version. After 6 weeks, the group finally started working with KYRIE LUCIAN UNDERGROUND PRODUCTION and
DEZ DIGITAL to shoot the
Music ...
