John Kerry became the most senior U.S. official to visit Hiroshima Peace Park on Monday. The secretary of state was in Japan for G7 meetings and visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Museum for victims of the U.S. atomic bomb, dropped on the city in 1945.
