Fairyhouse Racecourse is one of Ireland's premier horse racing venues. Situated in the parish of Ratoath in County Meath, on the R155 regional road, 3 km off the N3. It is the home of the Irish Grand National. The first race meet was held in 1848. In 1870, the first Irish Grand National steeplechase was held there.
The racetrack itself is a one mile and 6.5 furlong right-handed circuit, with a 2.5 furlong straight and a slight uphill finish. The main business of Fairyhouse racecourse is betting on the races known traditionally in parts of Ireland as turf accountancy. Admission to Fairyhouse race meetings is free to under-16s along with various other promotions such as concession rates for OAPs and seasonal festivals (i.e. Winter Festival, Easter Festival etc.) It also hosted the first three Witnness festivals from 2000 to 2002 inclusive.
Fairyhouse is the premier horse race meeting hosting both the Irish Grand National and Irish Gold Cup but has always been a fine quality racecourse attracting international racing stars such as Desert Orchid, Prince Regent, and Persian War among others. The course was the training ground for l'Escargot, a winner of the Irish Grand National against famous racer Red Rum to name but a few racing achievements. The Powers Gold Label Stand and Jameson stand were reopened following refurbishment in 1999 and Fairyhouse is boasted by Meath Tourism to be "firmly established as one of the most modern facilities in the country, providing an outstanding level of comfort and service." The Irish Grand National is run every Easter Monday and currently sponsored by Jameson Whiskey.
Disney Junior is an American digital cable and satellite television network that is owned by the Disney Channels Worldwide unit of the Disney–ABC Television Group, itself a unit of the Disney Media Networks division of The Walt Disney Company. Aimed mainly at children under 8 years of age, its programming consists of original first-run television series, theatrically-released and made-for-DVD movies and select other third-party programming.
Disney Junior also lends its name to a morning and early afternoon program block seen on sister network Disney Channel, branded as "Disney Junior on Disney Channel", airing weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (6:00 to 10:30 a.m. during the summer months and designated school break periods) and weekends from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. Eastern and Pacific Time.
As of February 2015, Disney Junior is available to approximately 74,972,000 households (64.4% of those with television) in the United States.
The Walt Disney Company first attempted to launch a 24-hour cable channel for preschoolers in the United States, when the company announced plans to launch the Playhouse Disney Channel, a television offshoot of Disney Channel's daytime programming block Playhouse Disney, which debuted on the channel on May 8, 1997 (airing during the morning hours seven days a week, with the Monday through Friday blocks lasting until the early afternoon). Plans for the United States network were ultimately shelved, however dedicated Playhouse Disney Channels were launched in other countries internationally.
Polymer clay is a type of hardenable modeling clay based on the polymer polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It typically contains no clay minerals, but like mineral clay a liquid is added to dry particles until it achieves gel-like working properties, and similarly, the part is put into an oven to harden, hence its colloquial designation as clay. Polymer clay is generally used for making arts and craft items, and is also used in commercial applications to make decorative parts. Art made from polymer clay can now be found in major museums.
Bakelite, an early plastic, was popular with designers and was an early form of polymer clay, but the phenol base of uncured Bakelite was flammable and was eventually discontinued. Polymer clays were first formulated as a possible replacement for Bakelite. One of these formulations was brought to the attention of German doll maker Käthe Kruse in 1939. While it was not suitable for use in her factory, Kruse gave some to her daughter Sophie, who was known in the family as "Fifi," who successfully used it as modeling clay. The formulation was later sold to Eberhardt Faber and marketed under the name "FIMO" (FIfi's MOdeling compound).
A house is a building that functions as a home, ranging from simple dwellings such as rudimentary huts of nomadic tribes and the improvised shacks in shantytowns to complex, fixed structures of wood, brick, marble or other materials containing plumbing, ventilation and electrical systems. Most conventional modern houses in Western cultures will contain a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or cooking area, and a living room. In traditional agriculture-oriented societies, domestic animals such as chickens or larger livestock (like cattle) may share part of the house with humans. The social unit that lives in a house is known as a household. Most commonly, a household is a family unit of some kind, although households may also be other social groups or individuals. The design and structure of the house is also subject to change as a consequence of globalization, urbanization and other social, economic, demographic, and technological reasons. Various other cultural factors also influence the building style and patterns of domestic space.
Creative Commons (CC) is a non-profit organization devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share. The organization has released several copyright-licenses known as Creative Commons licenses free of charge to the public. These licenses allow creators to communicate which rights they reserve, and which rights they waive for the benefit of recipients or other creators. An easy-to-understand one-page explanation of rights, with associated visual symbols, explains the specifics of each Creative Commons license. Creative Commons licenses do not replace copyright, but are based upon it. They replace individual negotiations for specific rights between copyright owner (licensor) and licensee, which are necessary under an "all rights reserved" copyright management, with a "some rights reserved" management employing standardized licenses for re-use cases where no commercial compensation is sought by the copyright owner. The result is an agile, low-overhead and low-cost copyright-management regime, profiting both copyright owners and licensees. Wikipedia uses one of these licenses.
DIY Fairy House Lamp Using Coke Plastic Bottles (here is my video on making your own AIR DRY PAPER CLAY https://youtu.be/_Ef-U6aZEoI ) Hello, in this tutorial I show you how I made a fairy house lamp using nothing but coca cola plastic bottles, tin foil, paint, hot glue and paper clay (I used "Das modelling material" but you can use any paper clay or even a homemade paper clay - I have a video about that on my YouTube channel) I first cut the bottoms of the large bottles, and adjusted the length of the small one. I then glue the coke bottles together. Next step is to build the shape of the house using tin foil and hot glue. This is a fast way to achieve a basic volume that will be the base for our paper clay. You should have the general shape of your fairy house. Next we will draw the loc...

DIY Faux Stones & Wood - Fairy House Jars. In this video tutorial I show you how we made a medium size fairy house using two jars, tin foil, hot glue, white air-dry clay and watercolors. It’s fun to make and you can use it as candy jar for a candy bar, birthday party, thank you gift for a baby shower, baby room decoration, piggy bank, jewlery box, cooky jar and so on. You can turn it into a lamp also adding some battery operated LED candle lights Materials and tools: two empty jars with lids, aluminum foil, air dry clay (the one that mantains its size when dry - I used “DAS modelling material” a great air dry clay, but the secret is to water it a little and work it in your hand before you use it, to make it smoother), hot glue and water colors. (A lot of you asked me if you can use poly...
Walking through the woods and our kids found a fairy house. Conversation that follows is priceless.
Welcome to my enchanted fairy house! Fairies love to find and make things from what they find lying about and so do we. I made this fairy house for my daughter as a special way of remembering our favourite times together. Made from shells, drift wood, pebbles, bark and found china from our garden, holidays and walks in the woods as well as fabrics and treasures from my childhood making this a very personal and treasured heirloom full of happy memories. My daughter has watched it grow over the years with her and hopefully one day she will add to it herself with her children. I hope it adds a little magic to your day as it has to our life. Life without a bit of magic really isn’t worth living. I will be adding more videos so to see the fairy house through the seasons and some of the sec...

silence to regain composure
or rather, music to soothe
maybe a little magic could help
things could turn around
freeze this mood for now
hold tight till it thaws
wetness pulled out of me
so I cry less easily
a hasty decision
rdly used
jokingly punished
icy fingers touch warmth
trickles to the floor
wetness pulled out of me
so I'll cry less easily
wetness pulled out of me
so I'll cry less easily
wetness pulled out of me
so I'll cry less easily
