Kenna Zemedkun, known professionally as simply Kenna, (b. 1978 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian-born American musician. His track "Say Goodbye To Love" was nominated for Best Urban/Alternative Performance in the 2009 Grammy Awards.
Kenna is the eldest son of an Ethiopian family that immigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio. He was later raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Kenna began to express an interest in music upon receiving a copy of U2's The Joshua Tree.
With the release of his first single in 2001, "Hell Bent", Kenna gained moderate popularity and an underground following of fans who eagerly awaited the release of his debut album, New Sacred Cow. After many delays and swapping of record labels, the album was finally released under the Sony imprint Flawless in 2003. A subsequent North American tour was launched in the Summer of 2003 with Depeche Mode front man Dave Gahan.
The album, which was co-produced by Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, contained elements of electronica, synth pop, post rock, and house music. Two singles, "Sunday After You" and "Freetime" followed the release of the album; the music video of the latter, along with "Hell Bent", appeared sporadically on MTV2. "Freetime" reached #19 on the U.S. Dance charts.

On the farm her world collides with her ultra-conservative older sister, Myriam. After Amelia decides the farm would be a perfect place to start a retreat, a comedic adventure ensues amongst the peach trees. Complete with white haired mystics, Mexican farm workers and hippies running from the law, this film is about what happens when reality sets in and challenges the sisters to take the next step physically, emotionally, and spiritually towards their personal evolution...in the end bringing them closer to the true meaning of "free love".

Plot: Meet Daniel Kellam, a twenty-six year old mentally retarded man leading a sheltered life with his police officer brother Alex, and the people who take care of him. Daniel's existence is simple, revolving around his daily visits to the park and the music he listens to on his portable CD player. His nights are simpler, as he sits in his bedroom surrounded by the things he values the most: his pet goldfish and the musical drawings he hangs on his walls. As Daniel sits there alone, he often hears the quiet notes of a piano drifting through his window as the young woman down the street practices. On a night that would change the rest of his life, Daniel wanders down the street to meet this young woman named Kenna, and to show her that he has written down the music she was practicing. He offers to show her where she's making mistakes, revealing for the first time that despite his handicap, he has an amazing gift. Concerned for him, Kenna tries to convince him to go home, but when her college roommates and their rowdy friends return, things go terribly wrong. Confused and agitated by the hectic activity and the ridicule of a college prankster, Daniel finds himself fleeing, running blindly into the path of an oncoming car seemingly killing him. Thought to be dead, his caretakers and his brother Alex are shocked to find out from the hospital that Daniel is alive and well. With no memory of the accident, Daniel returns home, seemingly unchanged. In the days that follow however, things slowly begin to happen in the form of small miracles. Daniel's goldfish, which had died while he was away, comes back to life in his presence. His speech improves and is no longer slurred and he doesn't have difficulty walking anymore. Though he can no longer read the notes in his musical art, he learns that he can play the piano masterfully and knows things he can't remember learning, including what other people are thinking. As his skills develop, Daniel marshals the courage to ask Kenna out for an evening. What follows is a night on the town ranging from intimate exchanges on the grandiose steps of the historic town courthouse, where Daniel learns that Kenna is suffering from a terminal disease, to a "Grease" style dance off at a downtown nightclub. As the night comes to a close, Daniel recounts the unique nature of his new life and falls asleep for the first time since the accident weeks earlier. Days later, not having heard from him, Kenna finds Daniel sitting in the park he used to visit so frequently. But something is horribly wrong. He has aged twenty years since the time she had last seen him, and suddenly they find their fates tragically aligned. What ensues is a search for the answers that will ultimately define Daniel's existence, and save that of the woman he has come to love.

So, cool, umm
So, like, that's a really cool dress, skirt
Nah, I like the, the uhh, pattern
Do you wanna talk outside, or..
Talk in the kitchen?
Maybe we can talk in the — we can go outside?
Go to my place?
[Hook x2]
Let's have relations
Let's have relations
You and me, me and you
You and me, me and you
Me and you
Hook up
[Bridge: Kenna]
We'd never know
How could we know?
How could we know the stars would align
We'd never find each other
Star crossed
Star crossed
Tonight
[Hook]
[Hook]
I'm saying
You and me, me and you
You and me
Hook up?
[Verse 1: Kenna]
I think it's crazy, we've never met before
I'm wondering if we were supposed to meet in another life
I'm wondering
If tomorrow never comes
I don't want the sun to rise
If I could find you
Find you in the dark
Then I'm alright
And just maybe
Maybe we, maybe we will play tonight
[Hook]
[Bridge 2]
All I really want is
You and me and me
Hook up?
I see the lights
[Verse 2: Childish Gambino]
And my world was stolen
A margarita mix as we sip Ambrosia
Relax your shoulders
Don't worry 'bout it boo-boo, I'm a keep it kosher, bring your girlfriend over
Love is a conversation, this ain't nothing but chatting
I'm into having relations-ships a-sail, Chippendale all around the subject
You're all around the world, isn't that redundant?
Uhh, like the feeling the way you can't stop
Like the Nutty Professor grandma
Keeping tabs on all the right ones
When a nigga date your ex you wanna fight sum'n
Let's make 'em jealous, you and me both
I don't believe it, she telling me she Tim Tebow
Jones, lo-lo, let the mood do something to ya
And see the light, hallelujah
[Hook]
[Hook]
Let's try it out now
You and me, me and you
You and me, me and you
Hook up? Hook up?
Hook up? Hook up?
[Outro]
Well I don't think you understand me when I say to you
That I'm really trying to know you better
Yeah, really trying to be with you baby
I really want you to let me in
Let me in, let me in, oh babe
Let's have relations all the way
